Golden gun, is it a manifestation of the guardians will?
While reminiscing about the Destiny beta i started to think about yuyu yakusho and his spirit gun. Now the Golden gun is not an actual gun like the spirit gun so is it the guardian's spirit energy? Can they manifest it in different ways through training? will it vary among individuals in the destiny universe or is it simply a few known spells left behind by the Traveler?
What are your thoughts on the matter of the guardians magic and how it is manifested, im betting on the spell hypothesis but i might be wrong or it might have already been answered by Bungie , either way let me know your thoughts on the matter down below. 5 RepliesThe golden gun is merely the hunter abusing the traveler's light. They take the light gifted to them and channel it through their gun, to make up for their inability to wield the light itself. It isn't in them to conjure a weapon of light from within. the Titans are the ones who channel the light right to their hands. And the warlocks are accepted by the light; the light gives itself to them to aid in their fight. But sadly, the hunters must rely on a vessel to house the light in order to use it, whether it be a simple sidearm or a sharpened blade.
