*sigh* Refund issues, please help.

I'm sorry, this is the last place I wanted to put this as you all seem to be having a decent time of it but Bungie are useless at responding to queries unless they're deleting them. I'm looking for someone to contact at either Bungie or Sony UK to organise a refund for this game, any help would be appreciated. I bought the PSN PS4 version and I'm still having issues with disconnects, I've ran through the help provided (i'm not using a university network etc.. I'm a home user) opened up the various ports, tried putting my PS4 in the DMZ, checked my line with my ISP and also my PSN account with Sony and trying a different router. Same result, random disconnects with animal names and sometimes not. I've managed to achieve level 26 from playing alone or if i'm lucky joining a strike mid end boss battle but I'm at a point where I've waited a month for a fix and got precisely nothing. Since it seems to be impossible to contact Bungie regarding this I spoke to Sony Playstation UK (after a nice 45 minute wait on the line) only to be told that "You need to contact Bungie as it's a problem with their servers and you've tried everything we would try to fix the problem), the guy on the phone repeated this like it was his mantra to every question I asked him. He did tell me to get an authorisation code from Bungie so he could refund the game, how true that is I don't know as in the countless threads on their website not one person has mentioned this, Microsoft seem to be refunding some peoples games due to it not working but Sony not so much. It's not like I'm inventing the problem or the only one with the exact same issue, I spent £55 on a game that simply doesn't work as advertised and all I want is a store refund so I can buy another game.

  • a big fix is going to happen tomorrow 7am and all the servers will be Off for some time... Be patient, and If you have issues after the 'big' fix then ask for your refund ^^

  • Hello Nick I had a similar issue with Xbox for a download I couldn't use. My course of action was to speak to someone on web chat online (msn style), I am not sure if Sony do this, it saves a phone call and you money on your phone bill. If you do not get the answer you hear from sony, simply mention the sales of goods act, you have bought a product which is not what it says, or has not lived up to its description. If they do nothing about this write them a letter or email saying that your frustration has led you to seek advice from the citizens advice bureaux and that if you do not get a reply to your message you will forward it to a small claims court. It seems long winded, but the notion of going through the small legal side, often results in a refund and often goodwill for your inconvenience. good luck Andy
