How do you run your roc strikes?
Just curious to see if anyone has a certain way they run their strikes!
Is there a certain pattern you follow every strike?
Are there certain guns you use?
Is there a certain class setup you use?
Any comments will be appreciated!
My current playstyle: just run through it with hawkmoon and black hammer
My soon to begin playstyle: once on the boss, pop a bubble and shoot the boss with black hammer. Back into the bubble if adds become a problem or if the boss begins to shoot me (such as on The Nexus) Once the bubble runs out, kill a few things with bad juju then pop another bubble :D

1 ReplyROC is good for just running random weapons you don't normally use to change up your play style, unlike raids and weekly stuff it's usually the same power weapons every time.

Add spam strikes (Phogoth, First Half of Archon Priest, Nexus, Omnigul) Scout Rifle (though looking forward to using pulse rifles again!) Fusion Rifle or Blackhammer (Phogoth) Super Good Advice + Ruin Wings or Gjallerhorn + Ruin Wings (Omnigul and Nexus) Scout for precision shots and to fill a minor sniper role. Fusion for rush of adds or for non-precision shots on bosses. SGA for general run and gun with Heavy (which is stupid fun) and Gjallerhorn for times when that batch of crap needs to die right -blam-ing now! Single Target Strikes (Sepiks, Last Half of Archon Priest, RMDF) Scout Rifle (though looking forward to using pulse rifles again!) Blackhammer Gjallerhorn + Ruin Wings Scout for trash removel precision work. Blackhammer for bosses and stuff that is willing to stand still while I poke it in the face. Gjallerhorn for dumping ridiculous amounts of damage into bullet sponges. I generally end up killing anything that is the level of the strike. I have never made an effort to remember what I can and can't run past. Plus shooting crap in the face is fun so I rarely pay attention to much beyond the next victim. If I notice my teammates rushing (or they let me know) I will run along with them, but generally I feel bad about letting stuff shoot at me without a big dose of F U in return!

Gunslinger with chain of woe and gunslinger trance: Vex mythoclast Random longbow synthesis Random rocket launcher Situation dictates. Will use ice breaker for certain bosses. Will use ghally on some bosses

I like my nitc, plug one and any old rubbish in the heavy. Ill play either way rush or kill it all the end result is the same.

Always use weapons I'm trying to level. ROCs shouldn't require maxed out weapons to complete. People shard too many weapons in this game trying to min/max.

I use gunslinger with Saterienne Rapier, Perun's Fire/Ice Breaker and Hunger of Crota or Zombie Apocalypse (formerly Song of Ir Yut, but I gave that to my Titan). My strategy is simple, I sit back at the very start to let my teammates get ahead of me to see if they'd rather skip all the nonessential parts or shoot everything. Different people prefer to do one or the other while it makes little difference to me, so I let them make the choice.

I'm currently using handcannons, scout and pulse rifles in the strikes because these are the only weapons i still have to get kills with for the grimoire score

Fatebringer, Icebreaker, Hezen Vengence or VoC, Murmur, Dragons Breath These are my favourite load outs.... My most recent ROC strikes I've been maxing out my Shadow Price, never got around to it, I love that gun why didn't they do a 331 Version? Cheers Guardians

My primary varies between various hand cannons, Suros and Vex. Special equal black hammer cause of white nail perk. Heavy equal HoC.

I use the titan and punch as many people into orbs as i possible can. Other than that, just shoot everything as fast as possible

As fast as possible. Match my primary to the primary type of elemental damage the enemies deal through the strike... So either Mythoclast, Edict or Epilogue. Black Hammer for the majority of the bosses, besides Rockets McDickface who moves too much and hides his small head.

I run mine naked. It's a flawless strategy. Try to run a ROC strike naked....without touching yourself it's quite challenging.

Run through with whatever weapon I want and kill everything. Lately though I've been bored so I decided to keep Shoulder Charging Bosses.
