Depends. If a shotgun has the same range as my melee attack in pve...I'm not wasting the slot with one.

Edited by Canad1anBacon37: 2/6/2015 2:04:54 AMBut if you shoot someone from melee range with a shotgun, it will do massive damage. For example, with the buff my Found Verdict will do about 3.5k to 4k with a headshot :D and that's on a yellow health bar enemy.

Off the top of my head, maybe for controlling the conflux's before its time to do damage to the temper in VOG. But only if it totally wrecks minotaurs.....we'll see.
