The Devil Walkers take way too long to kill!

The Fallen tanks [i]way[/i] too long to kill! I ran into one by myself on the free roam mission and spent almost half an hour whittling it down. Not even Scarabs were that tough! There are a few ways I can see to change this, like having a higher heavy weapon ammo capacity, or having the heavy weapons deal more damage, but the simplest solution seems to be just reduce the tank's health... by a lot. They'd still be offensive juggernauts but fighting them wouldn't be quite so tedious. Of course, I have only fought two, so maybe it's not really a huge problem... though other people have expressed similar thoughts... Any ideas?

    This was [i]very [/i]common beta feedback, all bosses in Destiny are just arbitrary damage sponges that no [i]competent [/i]shooter would resort to (because more sophisticated AI, level, and combat design normally stands in for what Bungie has accomplished here by inflating damage and health attributes). Seeing though how[i] we still have them[/i], there's probably not a whole lot of use in trying to discuss it. What's changed between then and now is merely the presence of those who have merely accepted bad game design as "the way it is, now shut up [i]scrub![/i]"
