Gjallarhorn the only REAL rocket launcher?
So in my opinion, the only rocket launcher that feels real is the Gjallarhorn. The rest feel weak and can easily be substituted with a sniper. Gjallarhorn for the win.

"Feels real" what the fuk does that mean in a game set in the future with super powered humans fighting an intergalactic enemy across the galaxy? Did I mention it fires 7 other rockets on impact and can track targets? Very realistic. Have you fired one in what you would call real life? I shot my sister with something called a murmur once.

I have Gally and it's nice and powerful but it sucks to burn an exotic slot on a heavy unless going against a boss.... And as it is, it is hard to switch it in mid fight as the ammo glitch makes it worthless. So usually only equip Gally for boss fights if I use heavy ammo synth. I'd rather use one way ticket or another legendary launcher from raid

The truth is a monster in pvp, dragons breath is good in certain situations because of it's crazy blast radius and solar trail, Gjallarhorn is amazing but the others aren't THAT bad....especially the Truth(3 rockets and it can kill guardians even if the are in the air) fire and forget,

I used ghorn for the NF this week and truth for the weekly based on the burns, but ghorn by a mile overall I like dragons breath when i use my super on my sunsinger to throw fireballs everywhere...pure joy

I don't have any exotic rocket launchers. I stick to my valedictorian legendary or use my lmg.

2 RepliesDragon's Breath is currently garbage, but Truth is awesome. Gjallarhorn is just so astronomically better than other guns in power that others seem weak; they just have their own quirks.

Here is your answer. In the NF last night it took 7 GH rockets to kill the boss. In the WH I hit him with 9 truth rockets and he wasn't at half life.

If I were Commander Shephard. I would approve this message. Commander Shephard doesn't **** around with ***** ass rocket launchers. He uses bad ass rocket launchers, and the only that would be worthy of his arsenal would be Gjallahorn.

I voted yes and even don't have one but everyone obviously can see the difference. I felt so "useless" this nightfall as my teammates both have one. The archon priest was a joke!

Ok let's get real more than likely it's the gjallarhorn is the only rocket launcher that doesn't feel like a rocket launcher. And I have one. It's just the peak of rocket launchers. So we compare everything to it. Where we shouldn't compare it to other rocket launchers cause it is basically just a win button.

So hunger of Crota isn't worth anything to you? It seems pretty good to me! Gjallarhorn isn't the only viable rocket launcher, I've beaten Crota on hard with people using the hunger of Crota.

1 ReplyI have 3 of them: 1 from beating Atheon on normal 1 from soloing the first chest of CE on week1 (sorry about this one) 1 just yesterday from Atheon on hard That said I hope Xur sells it as soon as possible. Half of the forum is just about Gjallarhorn now. I know there will be a week of crying from the people that feel special for having it but afterwards everybody will move on.
