21inch over 42inch for fps any day. I play role playing games and things with story on a larger tv, but when it comes to FPS like halo or an arena shooter I don't go any higher than a 21inch. Don't ask me why but my performance tells me all I need to know. Just for kicks, I play destiny on a 42inch, however destiny is the least competitive game I know.
