Dear readers: Please don't base your opinions of Christians and Christianity off of the hateful posts that some Christians might make. Some people are miss-guided. You also have to look at the good that has been done. Mission trips, child care foundations, CHICK-FIL-A [kind of a joke, but kind of not:)]. I kind of find it sad (and I'm not trying to condescend or be sarcastic. I mean legitimately "sad") that people don't want to believe in something like that. Something that is good. It's all a great plan that's incomprehensible. There's a video series called Does God Exist? with this brilliant college professor who doesn't necessarily prove God's existence but he does show that it is the most plausible. There's a link to information about the video below! Whether or not you believe, you should check it out!
I'm a young Christian. There's still lots of stuff that I don't know and can't explain yet, but I do know that miracles happen and that there is a creator and he is ever present in our lives. It's not my job to prove or disprove others on their beliefs. It's not my job to judge others on their beliefs. It's my job to love others unconditionally (which I fail at on a consistent basis, unfortunately, but like I said, I'm young) and hope that the light of God's love will shine through me. I want people to want the light and joy that I have in him. Not so that they are jealous of me or because I have something they don't (for his love is unconditional and for all people), but so God can be glorified through my actions. I know that sounds like a very stereotypical, goody-goody, fake, Christian thing to say, but it's true. I want to touch lives.
My only regret is that this is a post on the Internet. I wish it were in person with everybody in this forum. People hide behind the Internet and say things they don't believe and do things with the comfort of knowing that no one can see them and know who they really are and what they really are. I regret that people won't think that this post is truly genuine, and that there aren't any 'good' Christians out there. I want them to know that there are amazingly good people out there. Christian people. People who love unconditionally. These people are hard to find these days, but may in fact be right under your nose. At the same time, good people aren't limited to Christians at all.
I pray that you don't lose hope. I pray that you Christians out there keep fighting the good fight. I also pray that I will see you someday, in Paradise.
I did not write this post out of hate, but out of love. Please don't respond with hate. Maybe... Just maybe think about what you read. You're in my prayers. God bless.(:
I think this link is right. I doesn't take you to the actual video series, but it gives you information on it. This is the Focus on the Family video series of you want to check it out. Christian or non-Christian. Either way it's really interesting. (:

16 RepliesI dont need a "god" to be kind to my fellow man. If you need the threat of eternal hell or promise of eternal awesomeness after death to do food by others then wtf. When people claim evidence for god they really mean "look at all this awesome stuff we dont have answers to yet!" So nah dude.
