This is awsome really great idea,i hope bungie listens but the only problem i see is that bungie targets casual gamers instead of hardcore/dedicated gamers what i mean is that they try to make the game easier so an audience that might not understand complex mechanics can play if random enemies with abilities would appear omg i cant imagine the level of tactics and action that would be going on imagine a nightfall like that hell yeah but thats just me lol im sure some casual gamers wouldnt like that much added dificulty to their nightfalls or missions. People have grown fond of the easy in destiny,just look at the rating and the ammount of people playing it,people complain about everything even about xur wtf lol If they made the work harder the noobs would start going crazy all over the world

  • I disagree. Is there a learning curve, yes. But this kind of stuff has been in many rpg's for awhile now. Granted, Destiny is a FPS but definitely has strong rpg elements. Also our world is much more involved in gaming than even 5 years ago. Warframe uses all of these mechanics in a complex format and has almost a nonexistent tutorial, yet still maintains a decent consumer base. Destiny would do just fine as long as they offer a minor tutorial to something like this. Hell, I've played with people on Destiny who didn't even know how to counter the 3 different shield elements lol. And they were lvl 28's and lvl 29's. Can it be overwhelming, of course, but that's the whole point of tutorials and slowly building players into a game. I could bet you if Bungie implemented this and had just a minor intro to this mechanic of abilities and elements, people would enjoy the game 10x more because of the diversity that's now offered....and it's such a simple mechanic in all honesty.
