Word of Crota broken like Black Hammer?
So I landed a WoC yesterday and almost have Hive Breaker unlocked, but I hear it doesn't "play nice" with Phantom Gift - just like Black Hammer - which Bungie later disabled rather than fix.
Is this true, can someone confirm?
If so, that's incredibly disappointing they after 1.5 months they still haven't fixed something that's been broken since Dark Below release before releasing a HM weapon with it. Arguably one of the (what should be?) best weapons in Dark Below is broken..
From using WoC a bit, it NEEDS something. The max ammo it can carry is around 79, so you run out of ammo pretty quickly. To take a perk away/disable from it will make it even less viable..

Works fine for me. You just need to disregard the rof on the gun and treat it like a slower hc.

3 RepliesIf it is broken like black hammer they'll just do the same thing and take the hive boost off or if you are smart do not upgrade that part leave it alone until someone says or proves otherwise. I wish I had a word of crota to tell you if it's true or not but I haven't been so lucky. Maybe tonight when I beat him on my hunter.

Maybe there are working on the fix. Could be harder then you think. On the flip side it could be the easiest thing to fix haven't. It's too easy to just re enforce only one side of the situation with out thinking about it.

10 RepliesBy saying white nail doesn't play nice with HB bungie was admitting that BH was too powerful. Until they nerf BH hive breaker is gone. Nothing wrong with phantom gift and hive breaker and if there is I'd like to see proof.
