WORST GAME DESIGN of 2014! That's right... ...Destiny
My level 5 character was invited to compete in the Crucible today/5 matches to be exact.
A question, more for game designers then players...
...what's the purpose of sending in a level 5 character with only 2 of the 3 gun categories available to them
up against level 15 - level 31 players (in Control)?
While your weapons don't sting, theirs kill.
How many shots does it take for a level 5 weapon to kill level 15, 21, 26, & 31?
While they're wearing armor, you are wearing paper.
Until now I thought "Mean Joe" review for the game had some merit to it, but he "sold out".
Crucible is the Worst game design I've ever come across, leaving "DESTINY" moving into
first place, taking the honor from "HELL-GATE LONDON" as the WORST game ever to
steal your money.

You now have all 3 slots. Your welcome All your missing out in crucible when your a low level are the rewards. When I leveled my warlock from 1 to 20 in the crucible, I was doing much better then the 29s and 30s. There is something called skill. Thats what you need to succeed in the crucible, not fancy weapons Edit: Crucible is balanced so that every level can compete. Regardless if your 1 or 32. Iron banner on the other hand isn't balanced. In that, gear matters.

1 ReplyHonestly, you can go in with a level 3 and do just fine with only 2 weapons, I've done it before. The game is balanced out to where anyone can jump into pvp and stand a chance, the only advantage a higher level has are his weapon and armor perks. You would know this if you had actually played the pvp, which you haven't (yes, I have checked all 3 of your level 29 characters so don't try denying it)

3 RepliesYou are surely a Christmas noob. Without a doubt. Crucible is regulated to make everyone equal. The only difference is the abilities through weapons and unlocked from supers.

I went into the crucible as a level 4 and came out a level 5 1/2 its not hard because almost everything is balanced

1 ReplyI know the game is not the best. I believe whole heartedly that this game is and always will be a work in progress. That being said the main complaint I have is with the leveling system. Please bungie do more than fix some cheese.

so unless you were playing iron banner your attack and defense stats are normalized. so everybody level is the same. actually some level 5 weapons are super good for pvp. once your reach level 8-10 ar3 cydonia is also nice auto rifle.

There's no excuse for not having heavy's unlocked by level 5, if not sooner. Of all the problems with this game, this is not one of them. You're just bad, both as a player and a troll.

Lol you know that there's a bolster in regulate crucible that makes your armor and gun strength near even with everyone else... Only difference would be your perks and advantage of having a more progressed skill tree

Lol iron banner has level advantages disabled. A level 5 will do fine in regular crucible. My third character when from level 6 or so to level 20 all in the crucible, 1st or 2nd place every game.

i played crucible at lvl 1 and killed plenty of high lvls

The defense from armor and the damage from weapons play no role in crucible. The purpose of a low level going in crucible is to level up faster or perhaps they don't like pve. Nothing forces you to do crucible at a low level. If you were doing iron banner then you are extra dumb.
