How can I max a weapon quickly?
Hey guys. I got MIDA, Vex, IB, and Thorn within the last few days and I really want to max all of them. How would I go about doing that easily?

Save up all 10x 5000 XP bounties. Do Nightfall. Just before boss dies, pop Telemetry. Do the Daily as fast as possible. Go to Tower. Profit.

-Do Nightfall for bonus -Do and finish bounties -Activate telemetry for specific weapon -Turn in bounties -Watch as it levels up Its best to have 2 or more characters. You could probably max out a weapon in 2 days.

What Torta said below...plus you can glitch if you can stay up/get up early. Be in the Tower before the 1:00 a.m. Pacific Time reset, grab the bounties, go do them, then turn them in. Log out of Destiny/change characters (choose the same character you just did bounties on), go back to Tower...and do them all again.

Buy telemetries from xur, then do 10 bounties worth 5k experience and before you turn them in you make sure you have the weapon you want to max geared up and activate your telemetry then turn in all the bounties.

Equip any item you want to level just before you hand in your bounties, then when all of you bounties are complete move those items to your alternate character and do all of those bounties again and hand those bounties in with those items equipped. They will be levelled in no time.

3 toons. Nightfall first across the board. Do all available bounty board objectives. Pop a synthesis for said piece of gear. Turn in all bounties. Should do it. If not. Go farm public events.

do bounties with that weapon then use a telemetry kit just before you turn the bounties in. put the weapon in the vault, switch characters, then grab the weapon again. repeat for all characters.

Equip which ever weapon you want to upgrade and use a telemetry that matches that weapon. Then grab a bunch of bounties and complete those bounties with only that weapon. The telemetry will increase the amount of exp you get from kills with the wapon and also increases the amount of exp you get towards that weapon when you turn in bounties.

Dump as many bounties as possible, running around with the gun gives you no exp at all (barely any) just stack up bounties, and if you have any, use the telementarys. They help a lot on top of your nightfall bonus. I filled my vex with about 28-30 bounties +telementarys and nightfall bonus

Equip whichever one u want to upgrade and hand in bountys... Use a telematry aswell when you do it if u have any. Other than that just grind roc strikes and kill everything thats all i do..

Make sure you do the nightfall before handing in the bounties. The EXP boost you get helps a lot
