Just spent 100+ Motes of Light
since yesterday trying to reforge my Efrideet's Spear into:
- Ambush
- Spray and Play
- Armor Piercing Rounds / Field Scout
- Final Round
- Arc
Never got it. Now I'm regretting it so bad, because I was saving my motes of light for Exotic Engrams with Xur next Friday hoping to get some shards or Exotics I needed.
I'm gonna hate this so bad if Xur sells engrams this Friday. Even more so if by Tuesday when Iron Banner ends I still have not been able to get my wish-list reforged ES!
Hold on to your motes of lights fellow Guardians! This really sucks :(

I got spray and play, final round, armor piercing on my first reroll

I got prox, flared magwell, and spray and play on my fury launcher. So good.

I did this with my iron banner fusion rifle the first time it came out, it's like slot machines you gotta keep going! Until you hit rock bottom and realize you're all out of light ;(

I'm happy with my ES as it dropped. Mainly because it has Void damage and I was looking to upgrade my void sniper from Praedyth's Revenge. It also has Take A Knee, Outlaw and a choice between High Caliber Rounds, Send It and Perfect Balance.

I ended with Rodeo, field scout and clown cartridge. Makes it possible to hold 8 in the mag

Edited by LionO: 1/19/2015 9:10:30 PMI made the same mistake I got greedy, I had a decent set up for my Efideet's Spear and decided to gamble for another roll, 90+ motes later, I never got what I wanted in fact it was worse. I was down to 0 motes of light. I managed to get an extra 8 by doing strikes and decided to roll one more time and got a decent set up almost to what I wanted but close enough. -Armor Piercing - What I wanted -Final Round - Exactly what I wanted -Solar - Exactly what I wanted -Unflinching - Terrible not what I wanted - What I wanted was Spray and Pray or Outlaw. In the end that is the best I can do, I only have 6 motes of light left lol I'm done rolling.

Same thing here man, though I literally almost have every exotic armor so it isn't a big deal for me

If you are young....taken this as a lesson to avoid gambling problems in the future. If you are older. It may be too late.

I know the feeling. I had good luck with three timurs lashes (used less than ten notes for all three combined to get good perks) but ended up wasting 80 trying to get my speAr to be void with two of firefly, outlaw, or the last shot perk. Ended up having to settle for void and two random perks.

Same but I got firefly field scout in void , just wanted ambush scope but didn't but oh well , Note I was also rolling on 3 spears and keeping the best rolls

Now that I have every exotic piece I want for this dlc set, I plan to re roll with aggression. Looking for efrideets with unflinching, shortzoom, ambush, armor piercing and final round.. Looking for my fury to have hard launch, horseshoes, field scout and clown cart.. Gonna pair these with last word.. Should be a very fun pvp loadout.

Shite! That hurts - I bought two Radegast's Furies and got tracking and radar on each with one void and one arc... Couldn't decide on the 2nd perk but tracking is what I had to have so I guess radar will suffice
