Xur Helmet Upgrade?
I purchased helmet upgrade from Xur, but didn't see any changes in the defense or perks. Was I screwed? What is the truth behind these "already equipped upgrades"? How do I know my helmet has been "upgraded"? I'm seeing no change in defense or perks. My helmet was not maxed out either.

1 ReplyEdited by CommanderLouiz: 1/16/2015 9:24:31 PMIt is the upgrade from the old damage (300) to the new (331) or it adds more light (30 to 36). If your helmet already had 36 light then you didn't have to upgrade it.

Stat changes are possibly but upgrading exotics is primarily to increase light level, which is currently 36 and can only be found on Tier 2/post dlc exotic gear and Crota's End gear.

Edited by Tesco Clubcard: 1/16/2015 9:20:26 PMThe upgrades from xur are from 33 light to 36 also you might see stat changes for example "33 light has 104 intellect and the 36 light gear has 125 intellect or a different stat such as discipline or strength" Hope this helped a little.
