Noobs get hand fed from Xur.
Whyyyyyyyy would Bungie hand every player the opportunity to get Icebreaker? It's the 2nd best exotic PvE in the game. You should have to earn the damn thing. Now people who can't even complete a nightfall or raid are going to possess one of the best weapons in the game from doing literally nothing.

Who gives a damn? It's a weapon. Will it affect you? No. And even if it does, it will only affect you in a good way. Why the hell wouldn't you want people you run with to have the best gear for the hardest missions with the highest rewards? That simply baffles me. I got mine from my first run on VoG. Then Xur sold it and I bought it. Now Xur sold it again and I bought it a third time so each character has one. There is no black and white to it. If you can buy it, you have earned every right to as much as the person who got it in a drop. Let it go.

Yeah cuz u "earned" yours right. Destiny drops are random!!!! Some people like me have been playing since day one and dident get one from raid or nightfalls. And some people got it from a legendary engram from the cryptarch package. So no one earned shit in this games it's all luck so now stfu and stop crying.

QQ cry more whiner I got most exotics missing about 5 or 6 but have doubles of ghorn and several others i been waiting for this gun for weeks , rng is a bitch so im glad he bought it and couldnt care less if new players or casuals all bought it too. A majority of strange coins are earned by completing the Weekly heroic. Sure you can get them as a random drop here and there but it's not like it's raining strange coins. I didn't have the strange coins the first time he sold it and after completing the raid several times, nightfall a, and other of the end game quests I still hadn't gotten it. I do disagree with you abut I respect your right to your opinion. Good luck on the battlefield.

1 ReplyYou're right, I am a noob. 3 toons 1 of each class at 32,31,32 with double digit raid clears in CE and VOG hard. I started playing at launch and have purchased every gun Xur sold that I didn't have. I am a noob. I should have waited for RNG to drop me each gun. No problem if it drops the same exotic 5 times or if I get drops of guns I don't like or bounties for guns that aren't worth the time or glimmer. I should stick with those so as not to be a noob. I purchased my IB in week 5 or 6, it was my first exotic weapon purchase from Xur, I was stoked. Good on Bungie for finally selling it again so others can enjoy this beast weapon. Keep giving us a chance at buying the weapons that just never seem to fall for us. That makes my raid team better, makes Iron Banner more challenging, and gives me a reason to run look forward to each Friday even more than I did before.

2 RepliesListen I respect your opinion, but I've been playing since the beta, completed many nightfalls, strikes and raids, and have still yet to own the g horn, suros or ice breaker until now, I'm definitely not gunna miss the opportunity to buy it from xur just so I can "earn it" .

Been praying the rng gods for an icebreaker since the game started. Countless raids and nightfalls later still no ice breaker. So buying the icebreaker from xur makes me a noob?

I don't care who has what gun but if you get it from a nightfall or raid you are just lucky. And weeklys take longer than nightfalls now since they haven't been putting burn in the weekly.and if you consider it earning from a nightfall why when you have to do two weeklys to afford it it matters? I don't care I just don't understand the mind set of people that think RNG is earning in any way shape or form
