Noobs get hand fed from Xur.
Whyyyyyyyy would Bungie hand every player the opportunity to get Icebreaker? It's the 2nd best exotic PvE in the game. You should have to earn the damn thing. Now people who can't even complete a nightfall or raid are going to possess one of the best weapons in the game from doing literally nothing.

6 RepliesFor you to disregard the dictionary definition of the word earn and put your definition as the only way to define it is as stupid as the fact you think you "earned" anything your characters posses Xur is simply for the casual players who don't have the opportunity to play every single day because of something called life. So yes you might get a warm fuzzy feeling from getting a drop because "rngesus" smiled down on you with the right numbers. For everyone else with abysmal luck. There is xur Grow the -blam!- up

I have completed every damn Nightfall since launch minus the first one. Every raid. Normal, Hard, played and grinded for hundreds of hours, yet I have NEVER GOT A SINGLE EXOTIC from Nightfall, got three exotics from Atheon (not counting the damn Vex Mythoclasts which drops way too often and is very overrated) and none from Crota. Got Hawkmoon from VOG chest, Thunderlord from engram prior to patch and TLW from Tiger strike. Every other exotic was bought from Xur, because if I wouldn't buy them, I wouldn't have them, RNG just hates me. Don't mix eaning with RNG based games, because there is not a single thing you earned in Destiny except Exotics from bounties, every other stuff which dropped was random and you can be lucky if it was anything good. Third week of getting mostly shards/energy from Crotas End and counting...

Of someone wins the lottery does that mean they earned it? I don't understand how people keep making these posts. Have people not figured out that it just makes them sound like elite babies? I personally prefer everyone in my fireteam to have Icebreaker. I hope Xur also sells Gjallarhorn soon so I'm not the only one showing up to a raid with it.

I have gotten three ice breakers from the game, before xur sold them. They unfortunately aren't all too common for me. Still no gjallerhorn although.

And your mom gets dick fed by everybody. It's a game, get over it. This game is unfair in any aspect anybody can look at it. Don't like it? Go play CoD and get off this game you would be doing everybody a favor. And yes I have 3 32's I have done the nightfalls and raids since this game came out and today was my first icebreaker drop after 1,200 hours(CE hard), I have yet to get a gjallahorn drop, I got mine by getting it from Xur. So before you start bitching about "earning" anything in game just remember it's not the work you put in, it's the luck you have at the moment which I am sure countless of people, including myself tend to not have. So shut up and enjoy the game, or get stop your whining and get off the game if it bugs you that much.

1 Replyi rarely ever use the IB. i find the ammo regen a pain in the ass and while the impact is good there are other legendaries that have as good or better impact. i just use synths and save the waste of an exotic slot
