Noobs get hand fed from Xur.
Whyyyyyyyy would Bungie hand every player the opportunity to get Icebreaker? It's the 2nd best exotic PvE in the game. You should have to earn the damn thing. Now people who can't even complete a nightfall or raid are going to possess one of the best weapons in the game from doing literally nothing.

3 RepliesNo exotics should have been sold by xur. They should have all come from exotic bounties of one kind or another. This is what's called "earning" them, and anyone who says they earned the non-exotic bounty exotics is just kidding themselves.

I did the grind for the Coins. Never done Raids, always solo Nightfall. I think I've earned it more than most that need help from other players.

2 RepliesIt has little to do with the fact that you called people noobs, but the fact that you're comparing people with bad luck to noobs. You could play for 1000+ hours and not get an icebreaker. If you get something as a drop it has nothing to do with you, or your skill. Its pure, undeniable, rng luck. People who get lucky drops need to pull their heads out of your -blam!-ing ass and realize that you're nothing more than lucky. Granted if you have no life and can play for 1500 hours or more, your chances at having good luck increase, but only a small % of the community has that kind of time.

Yes hop in at the last 10 sec. of and NF and getting the exotic while my two friends did all the work is defenatly earning it.Or one of my clanny's first VoGH (and first ever raid) bought the game on Nov. and gets the Vex(FFS he didn't even know what it was and how much a big deal it was),I've been on since week 1 and he gets it before me he earned it more than i did i guess. And by your definition all the exotics i've gotten from strikes those aren't ''earned''.,and what about the cheesers(i don't give a shit about them BTW,your its your game).What about those who get carried throught these ways you see as ''earned''. Its RNG 99.9%,its RNG on patrols,its RNG on story,its RNG on daily's/weekly's,its RNG on NF [b]AND!!! ITS FN!! R-N-G[/b] on raids too. Destiny is like a slot machine completely RANDOM, all you can do is improve your [b]ODDS[/b]!!! its pulling the handle as much as you can(play,play,play) The only thing earned on destiny is the money used to buy the game,but looking at your post reeking of special snowflake syndrome one might doubt even that.
