Not to troll, but your math assumes a uniform distribution of disconnects throughout the raid....which is an incorrect assumption. If we looked at the time where most of the population disconnects, the average probably sits right before crota kneeling and tails off towards earlier times. So, the probability is probably 4 or 5 orders of magnitude greater than your initial estimate. Also..... Royal flushes happen everyday on online poker sites.... Multiple times. Although they are rare for an individual, their occurrence is certain within a large enough population. In online games like this, we are constantly dealing with the law of large numbers and the behavior of the community is similar to virus evolution. Wherever you pose the selective pressure, the likelihood of finding flaws within that frame becomes almost certain because nearly every possible state exists at one time. Instead of getting mad at cheesing, try to appreciate the beauty of what we are seeing happen within these raids. I think it's remarkable, but I'm a turbo nerd.

Exactly my point. Spikes in data that should be evenly distributed (randomized) suggest intentionality, But nothing of this matters since Bungie -even if they have they data- don`t has the balls to use it.

  • I think you may be missing my point. The variable we are considering is time. First, where is time being spent? Next, where within the time spent is the most likely time for disconnecting? We begin to ask ourselves "what are the different possible mechanisms of disconnecting?" From answering these questions, we reach the conclusion that the distribution of the time dependent disconnects averages shortly before crota kneeling. Sorry I'm not going into more depth, but my phones keyboard makes typing complicated thoughts a very daunting task.

I think you may be failing to convey your point. I am not dismissing the chance that there might be hidden something reasonable underneath, but I don`t see it yet. Better try to get your hands on a real keyboard and come back.
