For clarity, buying an exotic is earning it more than RNG drop. Example: you have the least kills, assists, and revives in pve or pvp and get ghorn. You didn't work for it, if u beat the strike or won the pvp match someone else worked for your reward. You open a chest and pop an exotic. Its free. Not earned. You grind engrams and weeklies and publics for coins. Takes hours thus you earned your coins. Xur items are not welfare. So buy those items guilt free.
I cant delete this post! I forgot about the notifications. Totally trolled my self.

It's just a -blam!-ing game. Really not a big deal.

1 ReplyI so missed these posts from 3 months ago. You may have earned the money to buy the game. The only weapons that could be considered "earned," would be the exotic bounties... However, even those are random as well

Is this argument still going on...?

Edited by WhoDatMiyagi: 1/16/2015 6:34:27 AMLololol or joining in on a weekly or having the least amount of kills and getting 9 coins. REALLY EARNING IT. This is the dumbest thing to debate.

Nah, you get strange coins for doing nothing. They just kind of accumulate by mitosis in my vault. Whn Xur rolls by, it's literally a handout for anyone with more than a few hours played. I agree with him being welfare of sorts. At least RNG drops, you get from raiding and more difficult content generally. Much more rewarding getting an RNG exotic.

2 RepliesI fell asleep and woke up September 2014!

Actually - this kinda makes me feel better about purchasing exotics. For some reason I always felt cheated buying one. As though I didn't work for it.

Who cares how you get your exotic? If ppl make a big deal about it then they are pathetic ass f*ggots

Edited by S1CK L1KE V1CK: 1/16/2015 5:50:29 AMDoes it really matter?

This thread is Welfare

Edited by Llalla: 1/16/2015 5:46:17 AMI know you probably wont, but I wish you would remove this topic. I agree with you for the most part, but there is just nothing to be said on this matter that hasn't already been said a million times over. Including "earned" anywhere in a thread or it's title is essentially trolling in the context of these forums. Stop it.

4 RepliesAgree, but do we really need to beat this horse anymore?
