I did some of my own artwork for a competition here on the forums, thought I'd share with you guys too.
It was made in 3ds Max, painted over in Photoshop and the guardians were Shopped in at the end.
Enjoy!
Edit: Trending, holy mother of a minotaur!
Edit: For those wondering how I made this, it's really frickin' simple and can be seen over on my behance page https://www.behance.net/gallery/22800869/Times-Precipice? Cheers!
Edit: For those wondering where the textures and stuff came from, it's completely my own stock over at https://texturedude.wordpress.com/ You're all welcome to download and use the textures freely, no need to credit and all that stuff.
EDIT: Some more fanart for you guys http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/95160296/0/0/1

Did you write up a Grimoire card for this location? ;) In all seriousness, the artwork is gorgeous and I would love to know if you have some mental structure/context for this area, or if it was more about something that looked freaking sweet. Either way it is great! Keep at what you do man, your talent is clear and apparent. =)
