What is wrong with using shot guns and fusion rifle?

Nothing at all ... people should use what makes them comfortable, not what pleases other people ....

1 ReplyHonestly man, what bugs us all is people who run a whole match using special weapons as primaries. That drives me nuts. If were in a gunfight and you run out of ammo, swap to your shotty and kill me, hats off to you that's how it should be done. But if you're running around sliding and blinking thinking you're a PvP elite with a shotgun that is in your hands the whole game, nobody will like you or think you're good. Very trashy way to get kills for unskilled players using it as primaries.

However my 77 wizard that kicks like a mule is a beast. Shotguns you have to be aware to avoid. Keep watching your minimap. Fusion rifles you have to out strafe and outrun (Blink is exceptionally hard to hit). But running straight at a FR user with a shotgun almost never works!

Nothing unless that's all you use in a match. Sure I can shoot a shotgunner or fusion rifle guy but if the whole team comes at me..

Agreed on shotties, but there really isn't one for FRs. It's just a long range shotty really.

I'm not crazy about it, I hate shotguns and fusion rifles. But as long as there are bounties promoting that style of play then that's what you're going to get. Sure they require some manor of technique to be good with but not nearly as much skill as getting head shots with primaries.

The issue is using them for a whole match. That's what grinds people's gears.
