VoG Exotic Chest/Atheon drop query
Hey guys, so mostly I run VoG once on Hard per week or twice if I have time for maximum mats etc.
However my question is this, is it worth running it more times to get the Exotic chest/Atheon drop twice, because it's 2 rolls of the dice rather than just the one with a double drop?? As in run Normal then Hard.

1 ReplyIf you have 3 toons, do this: Run it once in normal, switching all your characters out for the exotic chest and the Atheon fight, then do the same process on hard mode. If you do it with 3 characters that's an easy 6 bites on the apple in only 2 full runs.

1 ReplyAs boring as the vault has become, imho it's still the best Raid in the game so running it a few times a week never bothers me. Some weeks I run it with all 3 while other weeks I only run it twice. As other have pointed out and what I've been doing the last 2 weeks is swapping out toons at the exotic chest and making sure I at least get that w/ each Character weekly. Course if I actually had Ice Breaker I really wouldn't have any reason or need to. I think Ice Breaker and Red Death are about the only 2 Exotic weapons I don't have. Well No Land Beyond but idc about nor have room for that PoS.

If you want the chest more than once just have everyone alternate switching characters to pick up the chest at Gorgon's or Atheon checkpoint. Problem solved

1 ReplyRun the Hard mode only first time in the week. You double your chances of getting an exotic at Atheon and you basically quadruple you chance of getting more than 1 item at every drop. Also , Raid exotics are now level 32 upgraded.

Since I started seeing double drops, I was doing it on normal and hard to space them out. Then the second raid came out and I don't have time to run 2 raids x3 so I just do it on hard once. I got two Found Verdicts at Atheon last week... *smh*

Yeah possible exotics or exotic shards if you already have it on all characters
