A possible solution to the Bladedancer crisis (from a Bladedancer) [POLL IS CLOSED, STILL COMMENT AND READ THOUGH]

The influx of bitching posts has gotten a bit ridiculous and I see where people are coming from but the solutions offered are not really that great in my opinion. Reducing the duration doesn't work cuz it would make it impossible to get more than 2 kills, especially considering that slashes subtract from your super duration. Reducing the damage resistance wouldn't work cuz it would make you too easy to kill especially being restricted to melee. Reducing lunge distance wouldn't work cuz it would make hitting midair targets impossible so you would just have people hopping around like bunnies every time you saw Arc Blade. I posted a lot of stuff here and a poll and shit but you know what? -blam!- that, the poll is closed. Why should everyone cater to the people who complain all the time without even making a Bladedancer, instead of the vast majority that is content? Screw that, keep it all the same. I wanna see some people scream when they die to Arc Blade then scream twice over when they try it out, try to use it as a panic super, and fail miserably and die.

    It's still under powered. Watched a team mate slash a warlock three times last night and didn't kill him. Warlock turned around a one hit meleed him. Damage resistance needs a buff when arc blade is active. You can't kill(or it's very hard too) a fist of havoc, Nova bomb, sun breaker, defender in his bubble, overshield health buffed radiance warlock). Hunters are the only class that you can drop with a shot gun, or a few shots and a melee while their super is active.

  • Balde dancer is fine. Its not op at all. People are just crybabies. I have all 3 classes and you know what the ONLY possibly OP thing in the game is? defender suppresor grenade. All you gotta do is be inside the blast radius, not even tale a scratch of damage, and poof! That arc blade, golden gun, bubble, sunsinger or if youre mid animation for fist of havoc, or a nova bomb youve just activated is gone! Nothing brings me more joy than cancelling your super with my GRENADE. Dont touch it, i just wanted to point it out.

    • Or how about people learn how to run and/or aim? Bladedancer gets the least defense (50% extra) of any super except Golden Gun (whoopdy doo, the other hunter special). A point blank shotty and a higher impact fusion shot will still kill them. It can't be used as a get-out-of-jail-free card like the supers for the other classes. It also has a lengthy and loud activation time. No super is OP. Each has a different niche that it fills. The hunter is completely offense in both of it's supers. The Warlock's Nova Bomb can save you as well as kill an enemy or 6, so can Titan's fist of Havoc, so they can be both defensive and offensive. Radiance is extremely versatile an can be offensively, defensively, or for utility. Ward of Dawn is inherently defensive, but can be used to buff your team offensive and gain ground (control). Stop asking for any nerf to any super.

      • Why is there even a Bladedancer crisis? I novabomb and Titan smash as many opponents in the crucible as I slice apart with the blade dancer. The people whining about it are the same that use their super as a panic solution on another player and don't wait till they can kill more than one.

        • Just nerf its tracking ability so it fuctions more like shoulder charge. When I jump you you should fly in a backwards J and slice me in the back.
