I switched out self res for radiant skin and I'm quite impressed with the result. The change of pace really helps play offensively.

Song of flame is what I use during crota fight. Help my allies get stickies faster
-
Radiant skin all day in pvp. Fireborn in pve so in case I screw up I don't have to restart a checkpoint or nightfall. Cuz ya know, everyone screws up somewhere sometimes
-
1 ReplyI use radiant skin in pvp. Self res in pve.
-
O hai der.
-
I play aggressively without radiant skin. Self res has save countless missions from having to restart. Is it the end of the world of we do? No it isn't. But it is very annoying in strikes especially because people will leave for failing. So to hell with my super, it's simply there as a "crutch".
-
6 RepliesPvE or PvP? I don't see the value of self revive in PvP so I use Radiant Skin instead.
-
I don't use it cause I don't have it unlocked.
-
I like radiant skin a lot more but I use self Rez for nightfalls, weeklies, and raids
-
Only self res if I'm soloing content or running nightfall/hard mode. Otherwise radiant skin for PVP and Song of Fire for everything else
-
If someone is t bagging me in a game I'll swap out to fireborn and dip my chip
-
Switched back to voidwalker, I felt bored with sunslinger so I went back to it, it's more fun.
-
I hardly ever use Fireborn anymore tbh. I'll only have it equipped if it's a nightfall, but I still use my radiance unless it's an area with high risk of wiping.
-
I don't, personally I love using song of flame. I like to blaze a control point with fusion/solar nades and watch them burn before me while I prance in the air throwing some more down at a rate of 2 per sec.
-
No. Never. Because nope.
-
I use radiant skin for PvP and PvE for the most part, sometimes I swap to song of flame if we're stacked with Warlocks in PvE. Fireborn is pointless if you don't die, and it's silly to use in crucible that's just another free kill.
-
On Crota.. radient skin with Apoth Veil usually pop super to make orbs for titans blessing bubble Good combo with heal and shield regardless
-
3 RepliesErrr... the one that increases Radiance duration is in a totally different column than Fireborn. The other two choices are: speed up cooldowns for nearby allies or decrease incoming damage. That said, outside the Crucible anyway, a Sunsinger not using Fireborn is called a Voidwalker.
-
Lol this has to be a troll
-
I used it more for the stream of grenades
-
1 ReplyVault normal I don't need it and its fun to generate a buttload of orbs
-
I only use it in the hard raid. Otherwise radiant skin +apotheosis veil= instant recharge before death fire breathing dragon practically invulnerable to missile gunfire damage.
-
My Warlock isn't up to level yet, but I probably won't use it unless in a clutch position (shield-bearer, etc) I'd rather use Radiant Skin with Apotheosis Veil.

Radiant skin here. I prefer just not dying in the first place to self rez.
-
I only use self Rez in pvp for postmortem bounty and in pve for harder things like nightfall. Otherwise entirely voidwalker. But I've never tried the other sunsinger abilities, I should give them a go

1 ReplyEdited by Bieltan: 1/11/2015 3:43:55 AMNo you didnt. Radiant Will is on a seperate tree. Fireborn is switched out for either Radiant Skin or Song of Flame. EDIT: on topic I usually run with Song of Flame when Fireborn is unnecessary...
