Thorn giving players false hope
Ok, you people are clearly just reading the first two sentences and running to the comments spewing your anti-nerf ignorance. I'll put it as simple as I can.
Thorn: 2 hit headshot, 3 hit body shot, every time. No special ability to activate.
Every other hand cannon: 3 hit headshot, 4-5 hit body shot.
Some hand cannons have abilities that allow them to bonus damage, but they are random/have to be activated by performing an action. Hawkmoon for example, can be a 2 hit headshot kill. For this to happen you must hit two headshots in a row and hope that one of them is a higher damage bullet. Very unreliable.
If you got this far, I applaud you for actually reading a forum post for once.

This video clearly shows multiple enemies getting hit twice RAPIDLY in the head with thorn, and guess what? They die. I don't know why you people think you have to wait between shots.

I beg to differ regarding Hawkmoon. I pop people left and right with 2 shots all the time. I almost always have a random shot dealing extra damage in the first couple of shots. And the only reason Thorn 2 shots is because of it's DoT ability. I have a Thorn, but I'm #Hawkmoon4lyfe.

I just got Thorn this week (had the bounty forever, but was too lazy) and i have to admit its real nice in crucible (esp rumble) but so is my last word, suros, or personal favorite VoC. An exotic has to be noticeably better than other guns, ya only get one in your load out and some take work to get Edit: I know VoC isn't an exotic, but I put it in there because it kicks ass in crucible, mid to long range

It sucks because as soon as it got buffed all these kids started boosting for thorns and stuff. And now it's like not even an exotic anymore. The bounty was meant to be hard so only people who endured it could get the gun but now it's basically a handout to all the boosters. I guess I should have seen that coming though

Whats the point of having exotics if you are just gonna make them suck? What's not fair is having Thorn be just as good as a lvl 7's common handcannon so its more "fair". Like as if the people who earned thier good guns one way or another have to fair to lil babies so they dont get upset when they loose. We shouldnt get a huuge advantage but a good advantage. Thats fair. If you want it to be fair, go work for better guns like we did. It's not that hard.

Its a suros equivalent, but with a quicker ttk and extra damage over time :x easy to aim as well lol

Thorn is 3 shot headshot mate. Other hcs actually do more crit dmg. The DoT only helps when you aren't actively fighting a player. If you have to kill them before they kill you, it doesn't really help.
