Out of the list of top 10 most used primaries, it came in 9th. If it is as unbalanced and overpowered as everyone makes it out to be, it should be much higher. And seriously, buff everything else, don't nerf. You're just making PvE players lives more difficult. Edit: as a fellow Guardian pointed out, Thorn is the 3rd most used gun in Crucible. My bad.

Amazing! Nobody complained before the buff. A lot of ppl thought it was crappy before. The buff did not add any additional damage. It added 3 more bullets (thorns) and faster reload mainly. I didn't notice the increased stability. This really only made it more useful in pve or engaging more enemies at once. Now that more ppl have it and it is a good all around weapon that people are using the complaining has started. Furthermore you are complaining about an exotic hand cannon being better than your legendary pulse rifle. A user with good aim will often perform better with a scout rifle or hand cannon as all of the damage goes into that one shot that is aimed well Vs. a pulse rifle that will have shot spread. Btw most ppl regard the thorn exotic bounty to be the most difficult.

Anyone that states that Thorn is the most powerful weapon hasn't touched Gjallarhorn. Concerning being one-shotted with Thorn, also not true...I took it into PvP to test this theory and it takes a minimum 2 shots to the critical/precision box; shooting someone once, and then moving in circles till they shot me down, didn't result in one PostMortem kill. Bottom Line: You may have noticed only one hit to your character, however, the other player had you dialed-in and smacked you down...this is not easy, it takes considerable skill and practice to dominate w/ Thorn in PvP; far more likely for the skilled to use an AR (ShadowpriceSuros), TLW or the Vex. Thorn is a fun weapon, probably also the hardest bounty to complete by miles compared to the others...it takes some people literal months to complete this bounty. The people that whip through the Thorn bounty are the exception, not the norm. Stop crying for a nerf - ask for a buff to other weapons instead unless you think it's okay for people to damage your toys without your permission, and then stating "well, it needed a nerf".

Why not cut to the chase? Just nerf all of the weapons. As a matter of fact, just remove the weapons. Weapons are overpowered anyway. Fisticuffs for the win.

I have the thorn my favorite gun at the moment I. Tried it out in pvp today it takes considerable skill to kill someone with that gun.
