9 RepliesI guarantee you if all the people that are talking shit got a weapon that they can walk 5 feet into the tower and buy they would be bitching just as much! The fact is Bungie led us all on, left us in suspense over a "holiday gift" for how long after the holiday was over, and then it turns out to be nothing at all new, and for 90% of the people its a shitty ass hand cannon that anyone and everyone can simply go buy with marks! LOL....this is a joke, why not put a little effort into it and actually give us something special like a new holiday shader, ship or even a santa hat like they did for Halloween???.... it was supposed to be a thanks to all of us, for sticking with them and their game, for giving them money not only once but twice for a game that was allllll over the internet and news websites for the lack of story they gave us.... Sorry for anyone who disagrees but this is a slap in the face to all of us! I just think a "gift" shouldn't be something i could have already bought 20 times with marks that i have NOT bought for many good reasons! ...pretty much it boils down to dont -blam!-ing lie to us and get us all excited for something you're not going to put any effort at all into....Just goes to show us what bungie may be capable of in the future and something to keep in mind before you get sucked into giving them more money for their bull shit promises or "surprises"

3 RepliesI have every exotic in the game except for thunder lord and red death, and every vog and crota weapon currently available. I was still pleased with the gift, and I'm sure a lot of lower levels were happy too. I'm too lazy to grind ROC strikes to buy the new vanguard weapons that have higher damage than previous VOG weapons, so I was happy to get a vanguard auto rifle.
