1 ReplyTitan is fine as a male, the bulk really suits them. Hunter and warlock just seem really fat and bloated.
-
They like to look at the character model better than male. Personally I think some Freudian bullshit is associated.
-
3 RepliesSo, I'm not allowed to play Tomb Raider or Oni???
-
4 RepliesBecause I'm confident enough in my own sexuality to play as another sex.
-
I do it to add some variety to my character roster, but since that's not in the poll i guess the closest would be that I prefer how the armour looks on female characters, male characters look to chunky in Titan or Warlock armour
-
Armor looks better
-
Built a second Warlock for more raid runs. Wanted to hear what the females voice acting was like, kinda like it over the males.
-
3 Repliesso i dont have to stare at a guys ass in 3rd person
-
There is something about making her dance on command. I love it! Also smaller target for PvP ;)
-
1 ReplyHunters look more feminine.
-
I would imagine it would be the same people that made a female character for CoD Ghosts thinking that it will give them an advantage in multiplayer (smaller target)
-
I made one thinking my rng luck would be better and it seems to be slightly better, i got thunderlord from a raid chest. Only reason right there

23 RepliesPersonally I am not sure exactly why these Guys decide to make female characters.. I personally believe they make them for a number of reasons. These being the most likely (in my opinion): - They're probably very lonely and don't talk to females in real life. - Some weird anime fetish?? I would assume this is a major reason since a largest percentage of the polls is the response "because they're sexy". - Many guys are very in touch with their feminine side.
-
12 RepliesI posted an actual psychologist article from a medical journal. I'll try to fond the link, but the summary was the individual, wether consciously or unconsciously, relates more (or wants to be) that particular sex. Their emotional, and/or physical state is leaning in that direction. This isn't the case 100% of the time however.

Human male options are terrible compared to females. And I wanted to make a human.
-
because feminists
-
1 ReplyBecause I can?
-
I figure it's good to represent the other sex a bit.
-
It's an assquake :) No particular reason, really. Not afraid to admit that it's a slightly perverted thing, but who cares.

Edited by Harbinger: 1/6/2015 8:05:03 PMI think it boils down to 3 possibilities: 1. They prefer looking at female characters, even one's in armor who aren't overly sexualized. 2. They want to get attention and/or go against the grain and be counter-cultural. 3. They are sexually confused and/or want to experience what it's like on any level to be a woman. Now as for myself, I always make a male character. I prefer to make it an avatar of myself, resembling my appearance as much as possible. I'm not saying this is what everyone should do, it's just what I do. To each their own. People should do what they want and not worry about what other people think.
-
Because people would rather stare at a chick characters butt when they are running around the tower
-
Every game that let's you choose a gender, and has pvp, I always roll a female character for the one that I plan to play pvp with more. Not sure why
-
SO MY DAUGHTER HAS A TOON SHE CAN PLAY.
-
Ive played too many games with the main protagonist as a hyper-masculine white male, so its nice to change things up! Equal opportunities for all!
-
I also wonder why people get disturbed by that.. are they trying to pick up girls on destiny and cant make out if its a guy or girl?
-
In my opinion, it's not because I'm lonely or never talk to girls. It's not because I'm gay or anything, I just think the armor looks better on a female character in Destiny.
