please help. how do u kill prophet of regret on legendary (co-op)
me and a friend have been fighting POR for aaaaaages now and we just get pwned by him everytime. all the honour guards are kicking our asses constantly.
anyone done this or can anyone help somehow? thanks

board him then run and hide and wait for him to come back then board again, takes about 4 times. easier than i thought though.

Another key is to attack Regret in such a way that he doesn't drop you in the middle of the room where the guards can get a clean shot at you. I usually jump behind him and punch him once without boarding. Most times he'll turn around. Board then, and instead of moving to toward the center of the room Regret will move toward the walls which have covered escape routes. Everyone has their own particular stratigies though, so give them all a try and see which works best for you.

No all you have to do is throw plasma gernade to all honor gaurds that you can then when you run out jump your way over to truth then board his chair without hitting him and he will die shortly like 5 seconds.

The trick is to run out of the door after each series of melees on Regret. It is easier to fight the guards from outside the room and you will get checkpoints.

just remember the front doors still open, so you can leave at any time to recoupe ammo and sheilds.

I have done this with a Wrait and the Prophet of Regret A Wrait you can carry 4 people on it, 1 driver, the rest boarders (1 on back, too on the front punchin driver) The Prophet you can have just enough for Coopative 1 on each side of Prophets chair

Try leading the guards up to the second tier of the chamber, and jump onto the Prophet's chair from up there. You will have to face less guards when Regret teleports as a result. If you feel like you are getting overwhelmed, you can always run outside to recharge your shields or grab another gun. You must jump on Regrets chair and melee him FIVE times (five teleports) before he will die on Legendary.

well the way i killed him on co-op was that i had my freind stand back and take out the guards and i made runs to regret, see regret cannon can be avoided if you run and then when his doen shooting jump on him, then jump off go back to your hiding place and check point, or when ya get off press A and jump to the third level and try jumping him again, it takes 5 times of boarding to kill him.

Note that on Legendary, I found it much easier to just kill all (or at least most) of the guards. But this was single player. Legendary was much too frustrating to play co-op, so I don't know if it still applies.

have a person bring into the room a feul rod gun then when you jump on the prophet and beat him have the other person stand back and blow the hell out of the elites so that when you hop off youll have safe passage to a hiding spot

Just wipe out most of the guards, so that less respawn. Or kill them all and use the time to punch out the Prophet, then kill the respawned guards. Punch, kill. Rinse and repeat.

it takes 20 some hits but you just gotta keep boarding and punching use shotgun and swords to decimate honor gaurds you may hit a lucky checkpoint

on legendary this is IMMENSLY hard to do cos of the guards is there no secret place or some kind of glitch to do it easier???

It is easy just run up to regret then jump and board his chair and punch the hell out of him. [Edited on 12/19/2004 5:12:11 PM]
