who actually beat crota week 1 of TDB
It seems like most people have only 3 weeks of raiding even thought it's been out for 4. Personally I beat Crota week 1 but I want to know how many others did.
EDIT: wow I didn't expect to get this many responses. It seems like all 769 original slaying teams here.
EDIT 2: it's great to see how many precheesers there are
EDIT 3: most people here I'm gonna guess are 32 if they raided week 1 so if anyone wants to do hard raid when it comes out my gt is Urban2Hydra I'm on xbox one

I have 1 32 and 2 31's in response to the last edit. We did the raid week 1 but waited until the weekend because some of us are in different time zones and couldn't do it during the work week. It was really hard to avoid the spoilers throughout the week. We all agreed that we were going in with no knowledge whatsoever of the raid. It was a blast and we still beat it!

I beat him on one character but not my alts. I wish I would have tried harder for two additional clears now.

Ran the raid at 4am eastern time with my clan as soon as the dlc dropped. Got all the way to crota with no help. Didn't beat crota until a few days later though.

Got it down week one. It was a fun and terribly annoying ride though.

1 ReplyMy group spent about 3 or 4 hours doing the raid legit. Got to Crota but it was 2am at that time so everyone else was tired and wanted to go to sleep. I ended up beating Crota with a rag tag group of people who didn't even know each other. The guy that started said he had been playing for 12 hours, his original group left and friends of friends joined one by one, old friends left, new friends left, I was the second last guy to join and we got the timing down on how to down Crota in a few tries. I got the Black Hammer.

I did towards the end of the week when people started to get the hang of things.

1st day did the lot in about 3-4 hrs. It was a matter of learning the puzzles quick and having a good team

My group beat it week 1. I was with a group that made it all the way to Crota but they didn't understand how to stay alive. So I LFG for a new group and beat it with randoms and it went very smooth. Got it on our 2nd try.

I did and the biggest problem was finding a 31 to carry the sword I remember lol now I have a 32 and one shotting boomers with an ice breaker makes crota so much nicer :)

Had finals launch day so my buddy got to 31 beat him Wednesday

we got to the deathsingers but we didnt beat crota. after week 1 i watched walkthroughs and its just a long strike with loot

I spent my whole weekend trying to beat him but then on Monday we clutched so hard

Edited by Shturman: 1/14/2015 12:00:16 AMI was part of the original 769 took my team a while but we finally killed the God legit.. Except actually we did skip deathsinger which kinda sucks. But now I've beaten her legit solo and with 2 players and with a full team. So that make sip in my mind. I got to Weill the sword that killed him and I was really happy and so was everyone else.

We did it took us a while but was awesome when we finally did it now we have a routine down. Can't wait for the hard raid to come out.
