who actually made it to 30 Pre-DLC?
I ask because One of my friends only got to 30 and up because of the DLC. He was able to purchase gear and get to 30 and of course 31.
Before DLC he was stuck at 29. Yet he gets the Ghorn, icebreaker and I grinded to 30 & don't have either one of those weapons.. I know every drop is random but how can I get 6 strange from a nightfall and my friend gets the Ghorn? I will keep grinding because that is what keeps me playing. EARNING gear & weapons and then leveling them up.
Not complaining just a bit dazed & confused O_o

Ran vault of glass and never got anything other than the gloves. Next two weeks after the dlc it gives me the full raid gear which is now obsolete. Fml

I remember getting to 30 a few weeks after vog coming out I was so happy and then the level cap raised, got to 32 and I wasn't as excited :/

1 ReplyBeing 30 with VoG hard raid helm was a good feeling however everything you went to the tower with it youd always get atleast 2 invites for raids XD

3 RepliesYup just before it launched I got the last raid piece I needed plus the Vex Mythoclast at the same time. Then DLC releases and you can buy your way to 31 :(. I was wounded

yeah i made 30 took a bit the helmet killed my life the hard raid just didn't want to be my mate at all and managed to get my second too 30 which i deleted the other day to make a titan but I'm with you where i still haven't got the jelly horn man its killing me

Edited by atpbx1: 1/3/2015 11:34:34 AMMe, on three characters. In fact just yesterday I deleted and rerolled a Titan from scratch with no previous armour. Although I did buy those legs from XUR which punted me straight up to LV22. I'm going to try and RNG enough armour from strikes alone to be able to hit 30 in the space of 24 hours.

My warlock got to 30 a few days before the DLC dropped but only because of an exotic helmet. Ironically the VoG raid helm dropped for me a week later

Only got to 29 pre-dlc. Got too lazy to raid. Trying to make more of an effort this time.

I got my titan, warlock and hunter to 30 before the DLC, no Ghorn :( But i love how other people are able to buy their lvl 30 (and 31) now! I've already met some great xmas nubbies that are great guys and i love raiding with them

I tried so hard, but armor wouldn't drop. still want the sets. but only have helm and arms.
