No Land Beyond: The Sniper's Sniper
Brothers! Do not listen to these scrubs who claim that NLB is garbage. Clearly these guys have no idea about the concepts of patience, distance, timing and accuracy.
I'm so glad that I didn't listen to the naysayers and picked this up from Xur. What a great Xmas gift!
The only problem NLB has is the glare when you ADS, which makes no sense at all since it doesn't have a scope.
Getting kills with this weapon feels more rewarding than with any other in this game.
No Land Beyond may not be the easiest weapon to use, or the most useful. But it is probably the one that takes the most skill and for that, I love it :)
If you are a real sniper, you'll understand.

Not accurate post by most likely a 15 yo. I like NLB, it is fun to use, aim, fire and reload. However, my problems with the gun are; 1. Low ammo; let's be honest, NLB takes primary slot as well as exotic one and if you are insisting that I am a scrub beacuse I consider this gun as garbage apart from patrolling a planet, then you need explain to me the use of this gun in any strike mission or either of the raids. 2. Slow rate of fire; then again, in any strikes and raids, this gun as a primary will be doing no good. 3. It is a bloody sniper rifle. It is not that I don't like or use sniper rifles. However, in Destiny, there are few parts in any strikes or raids that we, or I, use the sniper rifle as sniper rifle (I mean long range weapon)... In Destiny, there aren't many long distance fights unless a player choose to stay back and snipe while the team mates are in middle of the action. I will say that I am a scrub if I see someone uses NLB in a full raid or strike. In crucible, it is another story.

2 RepliesIn PVE I think the ammo glitches on this gun. From orbit I'll start with 18, 6 in gun, 12 in reserve. After shooting however, I can only re-collect 12 rounds total. I'm sure this will be fixed soon, or if they bumped up reserve to 24. Otherwise I love this gun!

No land beyond also zooms in the sight even though it's got iron sights. That is OP. XD

No land beyond is like making a brand new car without fuel injection. Sure it works and is "classic" but it sucks compared to having a fuel injected car. While you're talking up NLB, don't forget to churn your butter and hitch up your horse and buggy for your weekly trip to town.

I find that my K/D has gone down because of it. But it is hilariously fun to use. I enjoy the short-distance sight and I'm much better with it than, let's say, Praedyth's Revenge.

I like the NLB so far. My one real complaint is the same problem the thorn and invective had pre-buff. My guardian handles it without a care in the world. No cares are given to the urgency of being shot at, about to be mauled, blown up, set on fire, or drowned. Just gonna fire this shot then lah dee dah now I just need to pull the bolt back, mmmhmmm, Okay now I gotta push the bolt forward again, eh not in any rush or anything I shall just take my time. OK now the bolt is in place so now I can go ahead and start to aim, do do do doodoodoo, ok now I am ready to do this! *fires shot* crap I missed, oh well now to start the process over! I would just like my guardian to at the least act like he realizes he is in a life threatening situation.

Have had this sniper since day one of the DLC And it's one of my favourite weapon. I can even quickscope with it and it's so much fun to kill people in crucible
