thoughts on PSN/XBLIVE being down.
So what are your opinions after a few good hours of the systems not working properly

From a selfish point of view, I couldn't care less. I'm not even at home today, so MEH. From another point of view, it is a massive nuisance for both Xbox and PS, and gamers.

In a nutshell I don't mind spending an hour or with family. But I love my games i have always grew up on them. I don't hate anybody for this happening I'm just disappointed in humanity and people who need to spoil the joy of the holidays.

Not to mention all the people getting xboxes/PS4s/Destiny and think it's the console/game's fault. This is 100% a PR disaster, if not a cut into microsoft/sony/bungie wallets. I would be super -blam!-ing angry if I was anyone important & smart in these companies. As a consumer all I can say at this time is, "Why isn't Twitter deleting Lizard Squad's twitter account/handing it over to the FBI to help locate and imprison these children?"

I'm kind of 50/50 on this one. I like it because hopefully it caused people to spend more time with their family or take a look at things they normally overlook or take advantage of. But I don't like it because playing today was kind of like my way of celebrating Christmas with people because my family doesn't. I dunno. Yeah I got friends but they got families, you know? And this is just inconvenience to the 3rd degree. I really don't appreciate how they're ruining Christmas gaming though!

2 RepliesThe lack of ability for Microsoft and Sony to prevent and/or quickly deal with these incidents is disturbing. Almost as much as the fact that nothing is possible on an Xbox besides playing games that have no downloaded elements. The trollish behavior of these lizard squad scrubs is ridiculous. Needing whatever attention this whole ordeal gives them is just sad. If Lizard Squad wasn't so moronic in their behavior, I'd feel bad for them. Odds are they had few friends growing up. Probably little to no reciprocation from the objects of their affections. But this doesn't make anyone want to help you. It makes peopel want to do anythgin ranging from punching in the face to disappearing you to a CIA black site.

I do care somewhat. I think the one thing that is irritating me out of all of this is their reasoning behind it. They're abusing the shit out of anonymity, and would probably cower in fear outside of it. To do something that affects so many people "just for the lulz" or because they want RTs and followers on Twitter by using blackmail isn't fair enough justification. The one guy talked about banding together to terrorize the government! I mean, really, if you want people to get behind your cause, then you need some better -blam!-ing PR skills. Also, maybe a linguistics course. PS - Anon > LS/FS (who are the same group, after all)

Honestly I don't care if destiny goes down, shit happens. But losing all access to my Xbox internet features like Netflix, Skype, hulu, and other sources of entertainment and communication really suck. Just saying.

It's bad , considering I'm a lvl 27 warlock noob, and never done a raid. Plus I need to grind to get some strange coins tomarrow with my bud :( Plz respect noobs that kick some guys ass with a khvostov.
