Twas the Night before Xûrmas Poem

Twas the night before Xûrmas, when all through the Tower Not a creature was stirring, not even Ikora. The stockings were hung by the Speaker with care, In hopes that the Agent of Nine soon would be there. The Guardians were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of Gjallarhorns danced in their heads. My girl with me where we had fun, We had just settled our guns from a Winter’s Run. When out in the city there arose such a Chatterwhite, I sprang with my Ghost to see what was the matter, right? Away to the balcony I blinked in a flash, Peered over the bars and threw up the sash. The Traveler on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the lustre of Middaye to objects below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a Glass Minuet , and eight Timebreakers. With a little odd driver, so quick like a blur, I knew in a moment it must be Agt Xûr. More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name! "Now Sepiks! now, Phogoth! now, Ta'aurc and Sekrion! On, Kolar! On, Numoc! On, Vatch and Atheon! To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall! Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!" As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky. So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the Ship full of Exotics, and Agt Xûr too. And then, in a screeching, sharp like an arrow The crashing and burning of each little Sparrow. As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Down the chimney Agt Xûr came with a bound. He was dressed in a robe, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. A bundle of Exotics he had flung on his back, And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack. His eyes-how they twinkled! his tentacles how lame! His cheeks pitch black, his nose was the same! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a Longbow Synthesis, And the tentacles moved with such emphasis. The corner of an engram he held tight in his teeth, And his tentacles I swear formed a wreath. He had a dull face and a pair of small hands, That jerk when he laughed, he sounded like a mad man! He was twitching and hunched, a right odd Jovian, And I danced when I saw him, ready to I have been! A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread. He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk. And stroking the tentacle on his nose, And pulled out his Ghost, up the chimney he rose! He sprang to his ship, to his team he recalled, And away they all flew, fast enough to go bald. But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight, "Happy Xûrmas to all, and to all a good-night!" I've been working on this for a couple of days with my limited creativity and I think this came out decent enough. What do you guys think? Merry Christmas/Xûrmas and have a happy holiday everyone!
