So I finally got a legendary out of 3 cryptarch packages and I'm so excited because I haven't had a legendary engram in 3 weeks or so. Then I walk over to the cryptarch and this greedy mother-blam!-er gives me 2 more ascendant energy to add to my collection of 79. What's the point of ascendant materials if I can't get new gear to use them on?
