Iron Banner 3: Who else won't go all in??
Considering that I've already replaced all the armor that I got just about 3 weeks ago after grinding way more that I would have liked, I think I will largely sit out tomorrow's event.
What do you plan to do? Bump if you don't plan to do it all again.

I'll play one or two games just to own sauce, otherwise I'll be focusing on Crota probably, getting to level 32 as soon as possible

I'll do it for my bounties. But it isn't worth it for the ranks. There should be a constant level advantage enabled crucible tho. That'd be great. That reason, and shotgun nonsense.

Honestly I didn't play it much last time since I was already level 30. I'm sure I'll play it a bit though.

Last time I got to rank 5. This time I won't bother. Maybe have a few matches as it can be fun and you get xp on the bounties. The auto rifle looks poor and the sniper rifle is meh.

All I want is that Sniper and a Class item for the one I didn't get last time. If I get some of the other weapons, great. If not, <shrugs> - not like they won't be outdated sooner rather than later anyway. Any IB beyond this one leading up to the next DLC will have less and less benefit as you'll hardly have anytime to enjoy you're gear. Hell, if you haven't pulled what you want out of the game by the time we're T-minus 30 days from next DLC, you likely won't get to [I]really[/I] enjoy it. Now that I understand how Bungie is working this game, I realized I've been playing it [I]all[/I] wrong. Just get what you enjoy and have fun with that. If you're going to Raid, make three of the same and save yourself some time. This game will rewards smart/efficient/glitch-using players, and is staged to help Casuals/New players catch up so why fight the system anymore? Just no point in being hardcore unless you belong to one of those record setting clans and enjoy that kind of thing. Just roll with what Bungie gives us. Complaining/voicing our concerns has done nothing/little so far. Polls like these on the other hand are perfect - Bungie see's enough people voted and that interest is waning, maybe this game becomes what most of us thought it would be/were lead to believe it would be. I won't hold my breath, but it would be nice.

Your level 31 gauntlets and boots that are more easily obtained via a vendor, same bounties everyday, expensive weapons and redundant rank grind can die in a fire. Tried it, annoyed beyond words at it. Its PvP Unhinged. Everyone either has Murmur, Vex Mythoclast, or some max-upgraded Exotic that is just a super douche move.... like Vex Mythoclast.

IB is a joke why would I waste my time to get crappy gear. Haven't played it since the first time it was introduced.

Not touching it this time. These IB rewards are not worth the grind. Only Gauntlets and Boots? Only a Sniper and a Auto Rifle? And all of them with shitty perks? Oh, Hell no.

2 RepliesNo point in playing IB. I got the shaders already and there's nothing I even need or want. There needs to be an even greater incentive. An exotic primary or something, you only get from playing Iron Banner

I'll do it for the auto rifle and then reroll it because honestly rnd just doesn't drop many weapons for me ever and when they do it's almost always been a mediocre weapon i would never use. Also Iron Banner is a way to get some armor without having to worry about ranking up things to get crappy accommodations ment solely to slow down player progression. Also at worst it will rank up my crucible rank to the helmet level which otherwise i wouldn't have done. Plus it's easier for me to farm glimmer than some other stuff so the cost is just the mindnumbing tedium. i can handle that for a week or so.

I have two pieces of raid gear and a new light 36 exotic. I'll play a round or two for fun but that's about it.
