Ok, so now there are tons of new things to spend glimmer on and Iron Banner 3 next week, you may find yourself looking for the most efficient methods of collecting large amounts of this currency. Well this guy is here to help you out! I'll start with my prefered method and then list other good methods. I'll also list some positives and negatives about each method. [b][u]Cosmodrome Hive Hunt[/u][/b] Step 1. Load up Cosmodrome Patrol Step 2. When you land pop a Black Wax Idol Step 3. Turn about 90 degrees left there is a small building that has stairs going down, take those down and turn right and follow the right wall to a room with 3 Hive Majors. Kill them. Step 4. Exit the room and run back up the stairs you came down. Note you only have to go up to the landing not all the way up. Step 5. Repeat above steps until you are done. Pros: - This method can net between 700 and 1000 glimmer per minute if you are fast - These majors have extremely high drop rates for more Black Wax and the items you turn in for 200 glimmer - Extremely easy Cons: - Boring and repetitive - Sometimes other players will screw up your spawn cycle - Sometimes 1 Vandal and 2 Shanks spawn up top and must be killed for the Hive to respawn *NOTE* You don't have to leave the Hive room. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EqTgLv413fM Credit goes too MunQPoC for finding this [b][u]Exclusion Zone Smackdown[/u][/b] Step 1. Load up The Exclusion Zone mission at 18 with Heroic modifier on. Step 2. Get to the part where Dinklebot has to alert the Cabal to our presence. Step 3. Activate Resupply Codes. Step 4. Kill everything except 1 Phalanx Step 5. Die and repeat until done. TIP! Lower your level and armor as low as possible to allow yourself to die easier when there is one Cabal left. Pros: - It's kinda fun for awhile - You can get a bunch of Resupply Codes and engrams Cons: - It's not the fastest or easiest method - If you are high level you have to kill yourself with rockets/grenades and those are limited, because it takes waaaaaaay too long for a lone Cabal to kill you - If you mess up and kill everything you have to reset the mission and that takes too long and is a pain in the ass [b][u]Tiger Strike Shuffle[/u][/b] *NOTE* It doesn't HAVE to be Tiger Strikes BUT those are the quickest and most profitable in the long run since each strike will take less time. Step 1. Load up Tiger Strike Playlist Step 2. Use appropriate glimmer consumable Step 3. Have fun. Pros: - Easy and you aren't doing the same thing over and over - Earn Vanguard Marks AND Rep while you farm glimmer Cons: - This isn't even close to efficient when your goal is to farm glimmer quickly [b][u]Omnighoul Bitch-Slap[/u][/b] Step 1. Load the new DLC strike on Earth. Step 2. Activate Ether Seeds Step 3. Kill Fallen Step 4. Once you get to the Hive enemies activate Black Wax Step 5.
