it's because they haven't done anything to really earn that extra money ,I've looked at what they offer and it's not worth 20 to me ,but I already have the digital version of the game so I can't give it back ,and on top of that it was a gift and I refuse to let my friend think they wasted money on me ,plus it's not that its a bad game it's that it's nowhere near what they sold it as ,but I play the game because it kills time and it still offers fun .

I bought Advanced Warfare & its bullshit. The spawning is terrible, exo movements gets you across the maps less then 10 seconds, did I mention that when you get quick scoped their shots are way off target -_- so I bought the DLC for destiny instead.

After a few updates you could see Lone Wolves were getting shortchanged on mechanics and avenues to progress. Regardless of being in a clan, I'm a lone wolf and I have real life commitments surrounding me at all times. So Raids and joining unknown clan mates is getting near impossible. You can see its not going to get any better for vanilla players. And really -blam!- Activision and this BS pay to play fleecing. Just have some nuts and say for the entire story, all the bells and whistles in this game is 180.00 dollar game back in late 2013. Then just cram it full of hours of play and become Space Skyrim. I would've saved accordingly for something like that. Not some cheese ball ego stroking experiment for some dev leader trying to impress his WOW buddies. Then changing it every Tuesday because he didn't like the community beating the living shite out of his dreaded Raid with gravity and the cliff he that he put there in the first place.

People don't have to buy it if they don't want to nor should there be lockouts trying to pressure them to buy it.

When i bought the game I had a good job. I got laid off and now work part time for minimum wage while trying to pay bills I accumulated when I had the good job. Money is the exact reason I can't buy the dlc right now

I almost didn't buy it and i definitely won't buy the next one. I'll still hop on once in a while to raid with friends or something. It's nothing to do with expendable income either. There are thousands of games released every month. Most at or under $20.

I play for fun. Since the dlc launch, I haven't been playing as much, (revisiting older games), but now I'm not in the rat race to get to the highest level so I'll probably log in time to time to do Crucible or maybe VoG.

Because I'm content with the pvp maps that came with the original game. Until bungie add new worlds to explore and offer crap load of content , then bungie isn't getting my money. I'm not going to dish out 20.00 for 2-3 strike missions , because then it feels like a f2p type of game.

Because it did not impress me in the least. Regardless of price.

I didn't buy the DLC and have no plans to do so. Too little content IMO. I might login to help out friends with occasional nightfall/heroic, but Destiny is pretty much dead to me. Bungie has made too many poor decisions during these few months and Destiny keeps getting worse with every update. Edit: Moved on to Dragon age: Inquisition

simple its a cin they held it back and called it a DLC.

games still fun and i mostly like the pvp (cant stand the lag), i just dont see the entire value of getting it especially if none of my friends want it. i do have a friend that has it and has played it and has advised against investing in it. We are big halo fans and just expect more from the company. Also it just feel shady that they are limiting rewards if you dont have the dlc and i dont like supporting shady behavior, they may or may not be doing this intentionally but if you dont have the DLC it sure feels that way since any other game you get and dont purchase DLC, they dont take away what you can already do, at least any of the games i have played. To point it is because its not just the nightfall, its the weekly, the dailies on occasion, and they took the engrams from the tiger strike on top of that; limiting the non dlc players. These were the highest places of rewards and now they are being limited, not by a lot but its still being limited. I mean there has to be ways around this and they seem to have just chosen not to do it. People can't see it from this point of view and end up saying "gtfo "or "just buy it or are you poor?" Problem with that is people still do like the game but can't understand why bungie has taken this approach or why they have to limit and these people dont want bungie to produce mediocre products when we know they are capable of greatness nor do we want the to become Activisions lap dog like infinity ward. Then there is the argument of they need money...well yes they do if the intend to survive, but if they want me to buy something it should be better than that. I havent complained that bungie owes me anything but i thought i would answer your question with manners unlike some others that might caps rage at you haha. By what I see, it's a pretty empty update, I don't need it. But got nothing against it.

People just need to admit they're broke instead of trying to make the dlc look/sound bad even though they haven't event seen/played the new content, copying what everyone else says without knowing why. Don't you just love conformity? Lol

Thats the exact question Bungie makes you ask when they do the nightfall and heroic like this.

I play the game I've already paid for, but I won't buy the DLC because I don't believe it's worth the price.
