FINAL WORDS FROM SONY about not able to play DLC (game from EU, DLC from US)

just let you know guys that we are screwed official sony support said to me this: TLDR I'm really sorry about it unfortunately the [b]DLC are not compatible with the disc game[/b] due to the game restriction. That's exactly what is happening the game is region you can play in on any region but the [b]DLC needs to be from the same region in order to work.[/b] No, since Playstation works independently on each region the DLC and [b]add ons will only work if the disc game is from the same region.[/b] I wish I knew that before I made the purchase :( I just wasted $35, SO -YOINK!- GREAT any comments on this from Bungie??????? thanks

    • Same story for me. I'm in asia for work so I bought a region 3 game, but my psn is linked to a European account.

    • Ouch.... Maybe thats my problem then... Been trying to work it out, bought the expansion from Playstation stores... And My Game is from Europe, PSN account is Canada, but got another PSN account (wife) which is Europe also.. I'm such a mess and cant understand what part could be the problem Help pls!

    • I am not affected by this, but that stuff like this/region locking is still happening in this day and age is beyond annoying. They (Bungie and/or Sony) really should be working on a solution that is more than a "sorry, you're SOL." I hope everyone affected can at least get a refund.

    • Rubbish, I bought my game disk from Sainsburys in the UK, I have a UK PSN account and a UK PS3 and I still can't access the DLC.

    • Why did you buy the EU game? Did you move recently to cross the region code?
