Destiny is why I will not pre-order any game. Just to think that a simple redbox rental would have saved me so much regret. They should refund all expansions and offer the content for free as a apology.

I also agree.... Ubisoft just did this with the bad launch of the Assassin's Creed Unity game. I got an email saying that they apologize for the glitchy launch and by the way...here is the 8 HOURS of DLC content for FREE! Bungie...take note. I love Destiny and it will remain my favorite and most played console game of all time, but I am sad from the corporate greed in this case. Wow Bungie.

agree 100%

A good lesson to bear in mind for any product - don't pre-order if you're sensitive to buyers' remorse.
-
Damn straight! Wasted $$$ on crap.
-
Can only blame yourself, but don't beat ourself up too much. A lot folks actually enjoy the game.

I do love the game as well. More than most games I have come across. It plays amazing and even though I do the same missions over and over I cant put it down. As a business person though this is wrong with what happened for eliminating the option to even do a weekly or any strike with substitute. It actually has made such a fuss there is an article about it in Forbes today.

That is true, I thought past performance would be a indication of future. But don't you get the feeling that the final product was just a polished up beta?

correct

IDK Netassin - I would argue that Destiny had a much more successful launch than AC Unity (it terms of a game that works and is fun to play).
-
True, but here is how I would compare the two. How put off would you be if you paid for AC Unity only to find out that you would have to wait and pay more for each "sequence"? That's the only real reason I think most players feel let down, not because the game isn't fun but because it was sold as being such a "huge" game. Fyi the game developers acknowledged the problems and gave Farcry 4 away for free as a apology.
-
Far Cry 4 free? How?
