Bumping until Vault Expansion date confirm
With all these new stuff pouring in, we seriously need some more vault space to store all our old sh*t. 20 is even not enough for me transferring guns between characters. A character can carry at most 10 of each weapon type, totally 30 guns. How come the vault store less than a person? I don't need to tell you how ridiculous at the general section, do I?
Edit: expansion is very close, can you feel yourself bumping?
Edit: Why bother making a vault? Just give us a bottomless box!

Edit: I admit, I am a pack rat, l love collecting items, and I cannot equip more than one exotics at a time, so I have to prepare some spare legendary weapons.
Edit: 2 types of commendations take up 2 slots, why on earth are you not making a currency?

4 RepliesAlthough there is definitely enough space to contain every unique item in the game (twenty weapon and armor slots plus nine across three characters is forty seven total unique slots available to keep weapons and armor), what I'm wondering is why anyone on Earth wants to keep every unique item in the game? What are you doing to do with a blue weapon after it's replaced with a purple? Or a purple after its obsolete or replaced by a better exotic? Seriously I'm asking, because it seems like you're holding onto things 'just because' and not because they have any value whatsoever. I just don't get this complaint at all. Pack rats shouldn't be catered to and honestly, the current storage system probably works for 90% of the players still running the hamster wheel. I doubt this is high on Bungie's to-do list.

TBH (not trying to sound super negative) if we've been asking for a larger vault space since basically the week of launch, I don't think it's going to happen. If I remember right a thread from about a month ago, DeeJ claimed to have brought it up. Here we are still. No info on to why they either can't do it, or why it's taking insanely long. (Bungie has a huge ego and doesn't like to admit their faults. I know.) If it took them three months to even be able to "buff" like 5 exotics and STILL release new exotics that are terrible, I.E. No Land Beyond. Good luck guys.

You see Destiny is a tiny little game that shot its load with graphics and voice acting instead of servers and environs and if you have a bigger vault then you may have more stuff and that means you will have less trouble holding onto things and that means less grinding. If you can keep more, then you need less and you might put the controller down. Take for example how many ascendant materials it takes to fully upgrade a piece of armor or a weapon (there's new shard and energy equivalents too for the new weapons you don't have room for too) and then realize that if the people who made Destiny wanted to, they could have given every single shard or energy back when you scrap your old gear... but they didn't. Now, why? You see if they did that and you could get new armor and upgrade it as you unlock those upgrades then just shove your ascendant batteries in the battery hole you would spend less time grinding and more time looking at how small Destiny actually is... and you would go play a bigger game - like Minecraft, for example. If all you had to do was earn the weapon or armor and then unlock the perks then day one players would have advantages over Christmas noobs and the new guys could never catch up. Now we need commendations to get space guns and space hats and space vests and those crowd out things like coin jobbers or those thingees that help you upgrade your weapons and if you had enough room for everything then you could grind less and again... Minecraft. Destiny was intended to be as much (dare I say 'more') about PvP as it was PvE. That's why they keep nerfing guns and why exotics are paid out in Crucible. PvP is easier to make as the maps are smaller so there are fewer people in them. It's sad to think, but, yeah they scammed us and Bungie doesn't seem to care because they are laughing on a big pile of money with prostitutes with really expensive boobies about now. Bump-o-rama. It needs to happen, I'm just not holding my breath. They need to let me turn off the fu(king auto aim too!

For me it's very simple. Give me the goddamn Pocket Infinity bounty Bungie. 7 times, 7!! Times I was able to do a exotic bounty, and all goddamn 7 times it were the same 3, of which I could choose (yes; Thorn, Invective, Bad Juju). I have 10 rare fusion rifles stacked up in my fault, just for that bounty. For the rest I can manage for now, with the current vault. This coming from someone with 12 different exotic weapons and 3 additional doubles. Not the mention the buckload of legendaries I acquired along the way. You guys might want to store a bit more on your characters and less in the vault. I do need to admit that this is becoming more of an issue, for future developments. They can't take to long expanding this.
