Just played for 6 hours. Beat all missions, did all bounties, and strikes. I am blown away. It is apparent that Bungie is listening to the gamers. Please keep it coming bungie!

I believe it was worth it. I got the expansion pass, so it was only about $17.50 for the Dark Below. It included 2 good story missions, 2 new strikes, a handful of quest so far, new bounties, a new vendor, new music, new areas, new dead ghost, new grimoire cards, 2 new Crucible activities, 3 new Crucible maps, new weapons, new upgrades, new materials, new armor, Agent of Nine has improved, a new Sparrow that allows you to do flips and awesome tricks, new Exotics, and a new Raid. Plus they seem to have increased the difficulty on daily and weekly activities, making that more challenging too. It is a great update and a good expansion. I also like how they increased the story telling or at least the intensity. I like the idea of these Wakers trying to summon Crota and destroy Earth. We have to stop them, and it is cool how Eris talks about how she faced Crota with 6 and only she made it out alive. That adds a level of fright and the music adds tension. Keep it up Bungie! Can't wait for you to go bigger and add new planets, mission types, new subclasses, or races. Thanks!

I would give the expansion a 7.5/10. It's good and I am enjoying the missions so far, especially the second two. The new gear is interesting, Murmur is a -blam!-ing beast. However I do wish there was more... A couple more missions in a couple of new explorable areas would be great, and I am still hoping against hope for a Hand Cannon that can be equipped as a secondary... It's a toss, the VoG was by far a better raid had more content. Croats end felt cheap and lack luster. VoG I liked finishing a boss and watching our characters make our way through sections to obtain loot. This aspect was left completely out of Crotas end. I was really hoping for more, in the means of content and story. DLC feels cheap and cut short just like the rest of destiny. I really feel like we are paying to be game testers. I believe destiny is just the base model and a beta for destiny 2. Destiny 2 will be the destiny we've all wanted. I hope!

Don't get me wrong, I like this game a lot, and I want to see it succeed and I think it can succeed. But here's the problem. PvP sucks a lot, not just because of the ability unbalances, or because of glitches, or connection problems, or getting returned to orbit, or the fact there's no ranking system to split up the pros and the noobs, okay wait... I lied. It's all of that, and probably some more. But PvE, (why I came here in the first place) lacks a lot of basic content. I understand it's new, and it's getting settled and just starting out. But the bounties are relentlessly boring (since let's face it we spend a good chunk of time doing them.). I came from world of Warcraft, where I had been for many many years. So naturally you assume my head is in outer space when it comes to my expectations. The reality is, it's not. I wanted more simplistic, I wanted less time consuming, and I wanted a change. What I didn't expect to get, was less time consuming and more simplistic by way of having next to nothing to do except look for failed attempts to raid. There HAS to be an in game clan system and LFG system (for everything) because without it there are far too few ways to make connections with people. The fact that I have an app on my phone called destiny LFG immediately tells me whoever is running the show, is forgetting some major core parts of an mmo. It's not that destiny is bad, or at least, it wasn't intentionally bad. It's that it is just starting out and everyone is looking for a lot from it. Give it some time, they are listening to us, and they are trying. Anyone who has played WoW and done serious progression raiding or arena/pvp knows that bungie is doing a hell of a job so far. I came from a dictatorship of an mmo. I came because I have some faith. Sure I'm disappointed now, but that doesn't mean I will forever dislike this, and it also doesn't mean I'll stop playing it. I'll be here devoting my time and input to it, and I'll be hoping for the best. I spent my money, so what do I have to lose now?

All im seeing is......waaaaaaa!

I feel a little discouraged that the Nightfall is level 30. I'm a level 29 and never got luck with raid gear. So now I have to buy new armor, grind to level back up. My Cryptarch is level 51 and my Vanguard rank is level 14 but that does no good when buying chest armor or helmets. Been playing since the games release and I can't help but feel a little saddened that I have to re-grind to get back up to level 30 just to do the nightfall.

It isn't worth $20 for how short it is. Pretty expensive 'patch'. It's a far cry from an expansion.
