3 RepliesBest dlc I've ever seen. Much better value than 3 mp maps for 12-15$. But then again what do I know, I never buy dlc because it never adds anything of value to the main game. This feels different though, I hope they release more expansions without too much time in between.

Well i cant really give you either on the poll i havent completed any part of the raid but i have played alot of it though different saves and i hae tosay its fun, but he story.....story? Storayyyyyyy...... Sorry i forgot what that means, was too short, and didnt add much to story, all i like is the fact they added crota to the story after mentioning him once pre dlc release. But that had by been my only problem with the dark below other than that the raid is fun and i enjoy it....for now :) so this is an okay dlc imo

It's decent content so far but vastly overpriced just like all Activision dlc is. Compare how much content you got from the borderlands 2 pass for half the price. The Tiny Tina dlc had more content than this whole game.

1 ReplyI think its worth it, based on how its difficult trying to defeat the nightfall and soloing the missions on hard when your only a level 27-28. Its all beatable but i do like the new things theyve given us. But, what makes me feel like ive been ripped off is that out of all this they still havent linked the new dlc to the actual storyline. Also, the feeling of being ripped off has come mostly from having completed all the missions(not strike or raid) and having played all three pvp maps(shitty in my opinion, it just promoted exotic handcannons, vex, fusions, and shotguns) and asking myself "what missions next?" And seeing that theres nothing left. I waited all this time just to do three missions(which i liked in my opinion) and call it a day. I say to bungie... wtf? Is this all youve got? Whether you had this dlc stripped from the pre-game to be sold for profit or not, you couldnt take the time to add more? Like your missions were getting me going, i was like "yeah! Finally some difficulty and new stuff!" But it was so short lived. There really needs to be more added to these dlcs, more missions. I like both pvp and pve but i really think that they should have kept the good missions going. Keep the enemies coming. There was only like what, one or two new enemies?(idk about the raid but from the missions and strike) is that all? Changing names of an enemy with the same look does not make it new, AT ALL. That was disappointing. Than when it comes to the raid this game has no in-game chat(something it desperately needs) to shout out to other guardians for a group to form so the raid can be run so its almost impossible to find a group. I should not have to take out my phone or computer and get on this app just to find people nor should i have to send messages to random people at the tower(which shamefully holds only 16 people) and annoy the ones who want no part in it just to find the people who are in for it. Its stupid. There really needs an update(or early dlc cuz im tired of having to wait so long) thats just for the people. To get the players together. Add an ingame text chat and open up the city and add things to brimg your players together becuase if theres one thing ive learned from playing videogames.... having friends to play with on the game always keeps the game going. If i were alone and had to do everything on my on in the game and than join randoms to get stuff done i would never have any fun. But having friends to play with makes it all the better. You know bungie... since its so difficult for you to please the destiny community, why not buy yourselves some time and give the people ways to come together and join up? Because random annoying invites and messages or getting in this app isnt going to do much... not for most.. and not for long. Anyways, my vote went to that this dlc was worth the 20 despite all i said.

If it wasn't down to the fact I feel absolutely pissed on from a great height. I would say it's great. Good art work and good new raid. BUT and a BIG FCKING BUT........... Why implement this crazy system and sell better armour and weapons>? Why can a new player get a weapon with better stats without having put any of the work in? You just undervalued all of the destiny currency and made the old raid obsolete.

300 + hours i have put into destiny.....after yesterday.....think ill be giving up. 2 hours to get through all content exept the raid. My iron banner gear is irrelevant. Still no real story. Rehashed areas for most of it (started off so promising too, with the Rasputin level). All they have done is reskin things in the game and tried to.pass it off as new. Realy gutted bungie......you lost 6 dedicated bungie fans yesterday... ..salt in the wound is the exclusive content.....would have been okay if the expansion was a bit more filled out.

Im actually pretty happy with it with that said I got this game and dlc for my bday not paid myself however crotas end looks amazing and the new quests were fun the new guns look amazing and the murmur at least is just as good as it looks and it's the first new gun and everyone has it. there is going to be some amazing guns and gear. the vog is still fun to run and not totally pointless however I hope they update it to fix it, ever thing else is pretty good I mean if you bought the dlc after playing this game for 3 months you knew what you were gona get and I for one am ok with it. my only complaint is I wish quests gave you eris rep, 2 option for nightfall and weekly for people who didn't pay and to give people who did an advantage instead of taking away from thoughs who didn't. lastly just give us a better way to upgrade our guns we've put time and work into

The game is what it is. For many, myself included, it could have been sooo much more. It should have. Yet I spend hours on it every night with friend I made on xbox 360 thanks to it. It is definitely the social aspect and the game mechanics that has me hooked, sinker and all. Still, I consider this "add-on" a way over priced item for the content it offers. Not to mention that it alienated a huge number of players from the core game activities for a week at least. Had it not been for several friends who talked me into it, I would not have bought it.

Still can't tell if the story/campaign missions are over. Still have to buy some urn from Xur, but right now, that's all the purple missions I have from Eris. I think I blinked and missed the story.

4 RepliesTotally worth it for sure!!!! This is probably my favorite dlc for any game I've ever played. The content takes so long to beat that it is easily worth the $20 price tag. I would recommend this dlc to anyone that hasn't already bought it. The new raid and strikes are very very fun. Thank you bungie!!!!

For me it was worth it. I payed 60$ for VoG basically. It was the only thing that interested me. Now I pay 15$ for a new raid? Hellz yes. The story is stupid and worthless as it is in all multiplayer games. I want loot and a challenge! DLC delivered! I think they should just not make anymore story missions and focus on 2-3 raid per DLC. That would keep us busy for a long long time.

Why would somone want to pay to make their legendaries outdated.....? The need to upgrade armour makes sense with the light, but weapons do not - change the attack power calculation instead of destroying out effort... #FUBNGY

Honestly, I wish they gave us more content. Once we are done with the raid and the weeklys, it will be back to the same thing. I still feel that it is a better game than CoD:AW BUT it definitely could use more content. I've spent almost $200 on destiny alone! (PS3&4 copy and expansion pass for both consoles) I know that I could have upgraded for free but whatever's lol.

4 RepliesI have to say I love the game first of all,but I think the pricing of the dlc in the uk is to much.i paid £40 for the full game on disc and £35 for the dlc code with no achievements and no cutscenes.seems to me abit of a rip off,but as I say I love playing destiny so what can you do.

I've enjoyed it but it is a massive rip off. In the UK it cost us £34.99 and the content is minimal. The whole game has minimal content so it shouldn't be a shock to me.
