How did you become a Sniper?
Was it in Destiny or in a game before this? Are you still working on your sniping skills or have you mastered the craft? How did you get started and where are you with it now?
If you really like sniping, consider joining Sniper Gang, if you haven't already.

Well, my sniping history began in 2009, with the original Black Ops, and I could even argue it began with World at War. My friend actually got me into it, and I quickly fell in love with it. But was far from good. During these 5 years, I have bettered myself, but I have not nearly mastered my skill. I like to stick back and avoid combat, therefore being a useful sniper to my team.

Never been much of a sniper really, found the more reckless abandon approach more fun in the most part throughout my gaming experiences. Final Boss (solar) was my first legendary, dropped from a Cryptarch level up and I really enjoyed it all the way through getting and using legendary shotguns and fusion rifles which fit my usual playstyle. My first Cryptarch level up post-DLC dropped an arc LDR-5001 which while is inferior in many ways imo to the Final Boss, is another great sniper rifle and I've had fun using it. I got an Icebreaker from this week's Nightfall and I feel that RNGesus has decided I'm ready to call myself a true sniper and bestowed a pair of big boy pants upon my Titan.

Battlefield! Me and my scrub claymore got shot a lot. Finally got to a point where I was setting up to take out snipers. If I only had a dollar for every newbcake that I shot off the water tower ladder.

I only started using snipers after picking up the Iron banner one and doing the 15 sniper headshots bounty, I was doing alright with it for a while then I discovered that it can shoot through walls and it instantly became a lot more fun to use.

First time probably medal of honor allied assault on PC. I've always liked snipers whether it's in gaming or say films (saving private ryan, sniper in the bell tower) etc. The skill it takes to use and being able to take someone out long distance. Any game when I'd see a sniper lying on the ground I'd immediately switch whatever weapon I had equipped without a moments thought. Even If a sniper wasn't convenient to have.

Battlefield 3/4. It was such a complex concept and after rigorous hours and natural skillz, I actually became pretty damn good at it. It carried over to every other video game bcus if you can snipe in battlefield with the realistic gameplay physics, you can snipe anywhere.

Halo. Has identical sniping system, 2 body shots or 1 headshot to kill. A good sniper was positively deadly!
