Hourly disconnects every night since midnight release

I have been experiencing KTO's and server boots since midnight release. I disconnected once during beta. It started with caterpillar and several other codes, then after one update it turned into zebra and other animals, after another update it became weasel sometimes bass or baboon would come before the weasel server boot. This happens every hour after my first weasel. Every hour exactly. I've set up static ip for my Xbox one. I port forwarded recommended ports for Xbox live and bungie. I've tried wifi I currently am using Ethernet cable. I've tried putting my xbone in the DMZ. None of this has worked. My modem is not that old, my router is fairly new. I have 0 disconnection issues from any other game. None of my family's devices have issues with our internet connection. I have charter high speed 60mb service. It matters not what time of day I play, I disconnect every hour after my first weasel on the dot. I've tried hard reset, I've tried resetting my router and modem, none of this changes anything except for the next time I get booted. I've called my isp a total of six times "There is nothing wrong with my services, they see nothing on their end. I've called my routers tech support, they see no interruption either, and my equipment is functioning fine. I've posted on here once before with five days worth of error codes and times of occurrence. I updated that post everyday with what I tried to fix this, and gave up after a month or longer. I only disconnect from you're servers. When I get weasel if I'm in Xbox live party chat I am still talking to my fireteamates while I am logging back in from the title screen. Not disconnecting from Xbox live or the Internet. None of my other Clanmates have this issue. They've tried suggesting varies solutions, I've tried almost all of them to no avail. I work full time with a lot of overtime sprinkled in I have a wife and two daughters, I don't have the expertise, time, or money to try anything else. My equipment works fine. I bought the ghost edition, because I planned on playing destiny for as Long as you're servers would be up, but I'm not sure if playing an hour at a time is going to work for me much longer. I appreciate that y'all are busy trying to work out various bugs and tons of issues with a game that has a huge following. I also understand I'm only one voice in a miasma of millions. I Really hate to say that the only reason I still play right now is the group I play with. I love the game, I love it he group of guys I've got to play with (Dads of Destiny Arc on Xbox one) but it's frustrating being booted as much as I have been. I've lost out on countless rewards because I've disconnected before finishing a strike or mission or crucible match. I guess I'm not sure what I expect, I know I never received a response from the last post I typed out on here. I would just love to be able to play you're game without watching a clock very closely so I can prepare my fireteam for my hourly weasel attack.

  • If you can search the forums, I recall someone a while ago posting with something that sounds similar. In that case it was his ISP's DHCP server resetting his modem network address and while every other program could handle it, Destiny could not. So even with you defining an IP for your system I wonder if there is still a certificate renewal going on at your modem or your ISP. The clockwork regularity struck me.

    • If any Bungie employees or anyone else would like a good laugh or two, and see what my disconnected nights on destiny are like, I will be broadcasting my raid teams attempt at Crota's End @ midnight 12/9 or just after on twitch. My ID on twitch is CaptainMarble42

      • I absolutely agree with you. Last night I was bumped almost hourly to the start screen for the Weasel error on my Xbox One, yet I stayed in party chat with my clan mates. This has been going on for four or five days. My clan mates are getting frustrated also. I have a family to so when I get to play, I need quality playing time instead of constantly being returned to the start screen. Bungie, what can be done about the Weasel error?
