This is why I'm not okay with the exotic reset
Releveling all of these will take months with the current cost of 14 strange coins per item.

I have included specific examples of the problems in this the new system, as well limited suggestions to rectify the problems in a fair and balanced way for all players without upsetting what is currently planned (at least to my knowledge.)

2 RepliesWill we need 14 coins per upgrade within the tree or just once? I can easily get 14 coins in a week because I usually compile about 23 per week which is how I bought weapons from him 4 weeks in a row. I didn't this week because I bought Plan C from him the prior week but instead bought two shards and the rest on heavy ammo and synthesis for hand cannon and fusion rifles.

5 RepliesI don't think it takes strange coins to upgrade them? Apparently levelling them up in terms of exp used is also supposed to be much easier, I imagine telemetries and bounties will make it quick enough.

21 RepliesUpgrading an exotic is so -blam!-ing easy esp with iron banner....you just run 6 vanguard bounties and then crucible and iron banner bounties its upgraded full do that over three characters and every day you can upgrade three exotics they take about 180,000 xp ib bounties give 5000 each on top of that there are now bounties from Eros

23 RepliesI made a post about how to sue them (not by the conventional means of lawsuits), bungie let it stay up for a week or so but realized since it was actually going to work bungie felt threatened and ninjad my thread and threatened me... It wasn't even deej, it was a real bungie employee. I simply don't give a -blam!- if my whole account is banned anymore You get a group of 200,000 people plus from all different parts of the world to file a 150 dollar small claims lawsuit for "unfair and deceptive business practices" against activision for using dev blogs and premature ideas as a marketing strategy to build "hype" around the sale of a video game in conjunction with buying reviews before the game is released which there is lots of evidence available to the public. They will have to hire a team of lawyers for each jurisdiction for each state/ province and country the multiple lawsuits are in. This will tie up courts for years 2-5 and they will have to pay all those lawyers, they will also be required to meet occasionally for the strongest response against the allegations which will fail due to different laws within the jurisdictions. The amount of time needed gets very costly very quick for even large corporations. This has been done against Walmart to stop or put the brakes on corporate mergers, so it's proven to work... As a legal loophole.

3 RepliesI do see where you're coming from but honestly I would rather have a way for the exotics I use to be upgradable instead of becoming obsolete. Though I guess Bungie's other option would be to just automatically upgrade all exotics to the next tier status with the patch, which would be nice :), but I suppose that takes away from the longevity of the game. Also from what I hear it takes a lot less materials to upgrade after the exotic shard is applied, so maybe the upgrading won't be so grindy.

Well the way I see it I'm OK with the weapon turning so long as it has to be a fully upgraded one.

1 ReplyThey immediately get more powerful. I have many exotics aswell, not as many nice collection, but I don't think it ll be a waste. I m happy they are not going to become obsolete. Luckily I have 150 strange coins saved up.

24 RepliesIt's seven coins to trade in for the new version. When you trade, the new weapon's attack value is already higher than the current max. Anyone who's been doing three weekly heroics each week should be sitting on a huge pile of coins, I for one have over 100. I don't see why you having OCD should affect everyone else's game.

32 RepliesYou are in no way required to upgrade all of those. I have all the same exotics. I can keep my favorite ones competitive for top tier content. Thats awesome. Whats the issue?
