DeeJ, I'm sure at least some of the community know that you're just the messenger, but you're the only target people have. A lot of people feel like Bungie is bending them over without lube by making us start over on our exotics instead of just adding another node to it. I was mad too, but knowing a fair amount of programming I realized that the Upgraded exotics are actually (in the code) NEW ITEMS in the skin of existing items, and to add an "upgrade node" would require coding in 2 new versions of the same item, cluttering code and doubling the chance of bugs. Not everyone is completely ignorant in this community, and the higher ups had better give you a heck of a Christmas Bonus for all the flak you're catching over this. Had they announced this at the end of October we would have known and been able to plan accordingly, but releasing the info 6 days before it goes live is THEM (not DeeJ) slapping us in the face.
