I know many of you have thought of this, and some have been informed by their "clever" friends that there is in fact a few locked Grimoire cards, one is called Thermal. Though we don't know what it is off the top of our heads, I would hope its a Attribute or Element called Thermal, which is a "Cryo" or "Frost" elemental effect. The name Thermal comes from the concept of removing thermal energy or the heat from the environment and this generates like, to which is why this process was selected as it is a distributor of light, as with the other Elements currently in the game; [url=http://destiny.gamepedia.com/Arc]Arc[/url], [url=http://destiny.gamepedia.com/Solar]Solar[/url], and [url=http://destiny.gamepedia.com/Void]Void[/url]. As this element would be most effective as a general slowing effect, most players may not find much use in this element, but it would be very effective in quelling numbers in close quarters or slowing the approach of various enemies. I would also recommend that reload, turning speed, agility, and base player speed be temporally decreased when effected. I think that this effect should be not only temporary but based in percentages similar to the Thorns DoT, but have a chance to generate like any other elemental effect; so its not guaranteed to occur. Also, I know that no enemy currently uses this element as a shield, but could be added to certain future circumstances like DLC or patched content. I would also love this to be called Cryo for it's simplicity, but if were going hard I would settle for Thermal as it's already a card in game.
