Hunter vs Warlock vs Titan

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I haven't seen a thread and can't be bothered to go look for one. I currently have a lvl 30 Warlock, lvl 30 Titan and lvl 30 Hunter (not trying to be big headed but relevant for this post). In MY OPINION (no one else's, everyone has different views) these are the strengths and weaknesses that I find. Warlock - the best character I believe PvE + Self revive. Self revive. Self Revive. + Nova Bomb is a good super which can be used at range. - Warlock glide sucks and is probably the worst 'jump' of all 3 characters (blink is not effective in PvE) - Using sunsinger means that you technically cannot super until you get killed, which can be the entire raid if you are a good player. True Warlock's go Void for the raid and nightfall as you do far more damage. PvP + Blink + Nova Bomb is great for mobs, especially on control + distance Melee - Warlock glides sucks until you unlock Blink - Sunsinger super isn't great (not played it much so I could be wrong here) Titan - Almost as good as a Warlock but not quite PvE + Bubble with weapons of light is fantastic for the whole team, in many cases this can help to finish a raid on hard mode + Titan Smash does a lot of damage and can destroy mobs (also creates a lot of orbs) - Agility not brilliant - Titan Smash is useless vs Bosses or enemies that cannot be one hit killed (use bubble in these circumstances) PvP + Titan Smash destroys mobs + Shoulder charge, used in the right hands this is very effective - Bubble not great as it can be super'd by all other characters killing you and those inside - Agility not great - Melee has to be close to be effective Hunter - in my opinion the weakest character in PvE by far. On par with the others in PvP PvE + Agility and triple jump are useful - Golden gun sux unless its against low level enemies - Arc blade is useless unless its against low level enemies - boring to play with PvP + Arc blade is fantastic and is arguably the best Super for PvP, quite often rack up 3-4 kills with each super use. + Golden Gun (with extra shot) is very useful + Trip wire grenade is good + Blink - With both supers you can be killed after you initiate it I'm sure there are many other pro's and con's to each character so please discuss. To sum up in MY OPINION, the Warlock is the best overall character with the Titan a close second. The Hunter is just to weak to be of use in the PvE (I mainly play the raid / nightfall etc.) it just doesn't have any great aspects like the others. With both the Titan and Warlock (bubble and self revive) you can stop yourself from dieing just before you go down. With the Hunter you cannot, this is a big deficit to this character. When putting forward idea's use + for pro's and - for con's. Please keep the flaming to a minimum.

  • hey guess what! LIES! I mean hunter is great I mean complete the quest "nightstalker's trail" and you get already an upgraded subclass, and shadow shot which is one of the most useful abilities because destroys players in pvp and has void anchor which slows enemies and can kill them too. Not to mention the fact that the grenades are extremely useful and lethal much like the wall grenade and void grenade and the golden gun with one of the exotic pieces of gear ( obtained by Xur in the crimson days 2016) lets golden gun shoot one shot but multiplies the damage by six making it useful and even more lethal. Also hunters have subclass upgrades like "Way of the drifter" or "Way of the nomad" and stuff like those which increases agility and recovery. Not to mention "Way of the fearless" which significantly increases armor so you are pretty much a death machine.

  • Radiance in the right hands is as good as the hunter supers imo. Radiant skin and flame shield make you a tough little beast with roughly two melee one shots per use and nades nades nades. Fireborn is good for PvE, but I never use it in PvP, I'd rather kill the other team with my radiance than save it for a death :/
