Easiest way to level weapons?
I know turning in bounties helps a lot but which mode/event also gives you the most weapon xp? Doing the raids and barelyyy got one gun to level up once. So any suggestions?

1 ReplyEdited by atpbx1: 11/28/2014 7:29:25 AMBouties daily and telemetry. You dont even need to shoot a single enemy to max out a weapon or piece if armor. If i get a piece of armor or a new gun, i only switch to the piece that needs to be leveled at the last part of the daily, and just as i cash the bounties in. Too many hours in the game now to waste my time grinding stuff unlevelled for hours at a time. For instance i maxed Truths XP over a couple of days and i think in that whole time I used it 3 or 4 times.

2 RepliesTelemetry + bounties. Having 3 characters are nice. Switch to next char. Turn bounties. Repeat. Also when you farm. Use that weapon. This is what I do. When I got my last word, I turned in multiple bounties for each character holding the gun and plus telemetry, got it pass the final perk around 3-4 hours of actual game time?

Nightfall first. Then any bounties you can finish or tiger strikes

5 RepliesWhen you turn in your bounties, first turn in as many as possible, but more importantly use a telemetry for what ever weapon your trying to level. By far the easiest way to level weapons.

5 RepliesBounties, daily, strikes, weekly and Nightfall. I was getting more xp from strikes than Crucible when levelling up my Warlock, but yeah bounties are your first concern. You get good xp from the weekly heroic and Nightfall but if the gun isn't levelled already you may be making it hard for yourself.

5 RepliesTwo characters? What I do is the daily. Knock out as many bounties as I can, put them in the vault then change characters and do it all over again. Still want more? I just go to the crucible. But honestly it's A LOT of work and a little boring after a while
